I had a username a long time ago and made one post in the past but lost my email and information, therefore I created a new account. I am a Christian that is suffering from PTSD do to the doctrine of Hell. I have been able to hold down a job and keep myself together because of Gary Amarault, Santo Calarco, mercifultruth.com, and the tentmaker forums. I have been to afraid to even read the bible because of when it speaks about eternal damnation and Hell. I have challenged myself to start posting questions as I come across them to try and get over it. I look forward to speaking with you all, thank you.

In 1Corinthians13:8, it says that "Love never fails."
God created each of us, and we are told that He loves each of us, and created us to do His will and has counted every hair on our heads.
To have created some of us to find Him and some of us not to find Him, would have, in my understanding, been a failure.
God never fails...God is Love.
We will all go home one day. I believe.

You have found the best place on the www, my friend. If you are afraid to read your Bible, seek out a Young's Literal Version, and there are several other versions which do not contain the "H" word. You know, part of my journey began when I saw some things that did not make sense in my KJV - to be exact, it was a few notes in the center-column reference. That led me to concordances, a good dictionary, even to Norse mythology. In the end, I came to see that Hell does not belong in any Christian Bible. I hope you get free of it.

'hel / hell' is a Norse word.. has no place in the Bible.. old testament hebrew (sheol, place of the dead "where there is neither thought nor doing..") nor in the new testament (hades, place of the dead). I believe very mercifully that the dead are asleep.. sleep with the fathers, etc.. though of course I could be wrong and death is indeed another form of life/living, but it doesn't seem logical to me - But I've gotten sidetracked.. Whatever occurs or is true, "God is love".
When I first began to read the bible, i really do think some sort of accusing spirit tried to harass me.. "wrath" in the original, if I remember right, is a reaching out toward, and passion for.. but of course there has to be harsh words to the worst of evil doers.. those who delight in hurting others, etc.. Our loving heavenly father witnesses all oppressions, etc. (Which the only way to avoid oppressions, etc, is to never create rational creatures?! Make us to be like robots or something..?)
Some of my favorite Universal Reconciliation verses are
Ephesians 1:9-10 - having made known to us the mystery of His will.. that in the fullness of the times to gather together all things into Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.
John 12:32 (Jesus said) "If I be lifted up from the Earth, I will draw all to me."
1 Timothy 4:10 "God is the savior of all" -Psalm 22:27, and so many, many more..
I hope you will post your concerns here when you come across them.. I think we all have felt those concerns, but have found many of the answers to them.. For the longer we read the bible with an awareness of God's true intent (and POWER/control) the more we see Universal Reconciliation in His Word.. more and more verses.. both straight forward and also implied..
