I have struggled with common stumbling blocks
wanting to advance in christ and not always convincedof my progress. Indeed hell and its threat hasbeen a chief problem.
Another being the damage done to our
sense of worth principally by my earthly father.
The notion of being loved
doesn t come easy and i know i m far from aline in thisso fear of an angry god
has been a great brake i feel.
That is why i get inspired by pastor
Robert Bell s view and
discovering that lead me

refreshing. I am joyful at
the promise of a living gospel
being restored and feel great

This world has a away of sucking the life right out of you ,but keep your hope in Jesus Christ alive friend ,
because He is the only promise GOD gave us for eternal Life , it is a new and living way , and this whole experience will just seem like one drop in the ocean , that is what keeps me going , been a hellish 18 months for me also , your not alone , never alone . dying to self painfully sucks [old earthly adam/mankind], but GOD is LOVE and WINS in the end .
When gathered as a power back into Himself , that Word /LOVE never returns to Him void or empty .all different lives and loves , but yet from the same Life in Christ[Holy Spirit anointing from the FATHER Himself ] , our common connection THE WORD OF LIFE though the HOLY SPIRIT working in us and the LORD OF ALL. You asked about this and for me it is just the motive of the heart and whom is in control of it , when it is GOD as first place in your life and heart , soul and being , everything else will flow forth as promised .
for me truly the battle is between your mind and heart , and where these thoughts come from ... and what strong emotions they possess .

How truly blessed we are to know when Christ takes every thought captive into HIMSELF and we awaken to that fact
that becomes truth and life to us and in us setting us free , making HIM THE LORD OF ALL
When Jesus Christ experienced death at the cross and tasted death for everyman , it was declared as finished and a short work as the righteousness work of GOD WHOM IS LOVE , HE took death captive in Himself and all will rise because of Him and know the Father because of Him , some know a little now, BY FAITH WORKS and some will know later, but for sure all will know the truth and will be set free .
I can only see these scriptures as speaking of self righteous works , not the righteous works of faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ from GOD ,
We know the self righteous works are filthy rags set to be burned up in the Holy Spirit and fire baptism , yet they will be saved as poor and blind and miserable and naked [last day WORD and church]
To me the last days are like a famine in the land for the TRUE WORD OF GOD , I BELIEVE UR IS THAT WORD and is scarce and also mocked and made fun of by the self righteous and deceived , not knowing the true power of GOD WHOM IS PURE LOVE and undefiled ...... and cannot be corrupted by false prophets they will fall by their own sword / words against the truth .
the first shall be last and the last shall be first , faith in the works of the Lord Jesus Christ is a most precious gift of God and a soul can possess and trying to keep it live within , I THANK GOD for those with the WORD OF LIFE in them .......
GOD is so good that He will not even quench or ''put out '' a smoldering wick , that is one fixing to go out by sending the beloved ones to keep the fire burning and be a light unto the world .
the WORD OF LIFE is a two edged SWORD /WORD to me, because it sends forth from the HOLY SPIRIT true conviction of sin and error , as well as chastening [ the fire Jesus lit up the world with in His own baptism , the CROSS[ luke 12 49-54] to burn off the dross , as we take up ours also and comfort as a cup of cold water in His name, to shape the new creatures in Christ , like the voice of many waters from above after the entering the Kingdom of God , HE RULES with peace and joy and the Holy Spirit by LOVE being the greatest thing forever more
No one can enter His kingdom without the chastening and rebuke of His will ..
I have heard some call HIS chastening and rebuke being of the devil when trials come upon us , but just like Job they speak without knowledge of the LIVING GOD ... HE scourges
[a person or thing that causes great trouble or suffering.]every one of us HE receives , and suffering is how everyone will enter and press into it .
apparently the suffering at this time are not even comparable to the GLORY GOD HAS instore for those whom love HIM AS THE TRUTH will prevail in victory .
I see those whom Jesus is calling the workers of iniquity are just liars against the truth and are stumbling to find their way into the kingdom without suffering and that is not going to happen . They will break themselves and anyone following them against the ROCK HARD TRUTH ............
None have any power at all unless it is given to them from above . God is the one whom anoints and appoints HIS WORD /TRUTH by grace and will fulfill HIS PURPOSE as we trust and wait on the LORD to the end ...
I was not going to say anything , but a dear one lifted me up last night, with a cold drink of water and I THANK GOD for all that are called to do so .
I also would love to be like that . Thanking GOD for you all , today when hearing His voice and not hardening my own heart , can live in keeping that Hope alive ......
praying for GOD to continue to bless and keep you always unto the end of this world as we know it by Our Lord Jesus Christ .........
ps been struggling with my own hypocrisy with self righteousness and examining my faith in CHRIST for a long time now ,leaves us speechless , such a fiery trial and trail of tears and a rage against evil forces , with dust and ashes that was not aware was within that only Jesus CHRIST rising up and blood /covering can overcome it ..
I just read the scriptures of the wedding feast and the wedding garment required to stay , the man was speechless as I had become speechless and was cast into outer darkness for a time away from the presence of the Lord , but in GODS MERCY HE has shown great grace once again though many prayers from many folks , those are the righteous acts of the saints to me , they believe GOD delivers us all out of the darkness into his marvelous Light .
We are all invited to attend until the king asks for the proper attire to attend , asking the Lord , But I was invited to come !, but it seems the faith in Him was not what I was wearing [clothed in Christ] , but self righteous filthy rags was what had to be removed first , like Joshua had to be changed of garments Zechariah 3
By accusing the children of God as well we ALL are hidden in Christ , just not awakened to that truth yet!!!!
we are to love and pray for our enemies with ceasing ! When we judge , than are we judged !
Outer darkness is weeping and waling and gnashing of teeth for certain!! the thing is ,when you are dead you do not know it yet !! it is when you have tasted Life and go back down into death as the carnal mind likes to keep us trapped to it , than do we even realize that life and death are in the power of the tongue !! and that little member can and does set the whole course of hell, ghenna /chastisement and certain death as broad path of destruction !
the whole truth in the WORD OF GOD is true and experiencing it all makes for a good witness of truth !!!!!
LORD , keep us all in the narrow path of life in the LOVE OF GOD always .............. forgive all , as we also are forgiven from above .......... there is no other way , suffer for doing good or we suffer for doing evil , but suffering YOU WILL , is what is required to LIVE THE LIFE IN CHRIST . for Him or against Him , better GOD wills you suffer for doing that good !!

God knows, it is again, just like the days of Noah to HIM .... Matt 24 37-39 our sign in these days , is JESUS CHRIST rising up in righteous indignation for you !! making a short work in us , because the devil has only a short time to try and tempt us with the flood of lies that fail and make us fall from grace but not forever ! . LOVE WINS IN THE END.... GODS WORD WILL NEVER RETURN TO HIM VOID as it JUDGES EVERYTHING PERFECTLY as done before the foundation of the world began . making everything new as the old passes away swiftly .

as I have stated to others, I am a little slow in my welcomes, so I am catching up.
My viewpoint of Matthew 7:22-23 is the keyword "knew". In what I believe how God defines it: it is "intimacy", being intimate with Christ, of having a loving relationship with Him, not in a physical sense (as the world defines it) but in a Spiritual sense of just wanting to spend time with someone you love.
I see it as the difference between the two covenants ..... "law" and "grace", there are those who are "intimate" with the "law", and those who are "intimate" with "grace", and do love the law more than we love grace; in other words: are we more intimate with the law of God than we are with the grace of God; more intimate with what is written "ON" our hearts than what is "IN" our hearts.
The departure from the grace of God (the departure from Christ) is for the purpose of understanding "intimacy" which I believe is to be cast into "the lake of fire" which I believe is to be cast into "the baptism of His Holy Spirit", (of which I believe is all those who in the kingdom that have already been baptized in the Spirit: baptized into the Spirit of Love). Because to be baptized into His Spirit is to "KNOW" the intimacy of relationship and do we spend our time with "law" or do we spend our time with "grace"?
Our departure is to be shown and understand what we were "intimate" with, what we had a relationship with, was that relationship with the "law" of God or was it a relationship with the "Grace" of God, with Christ being the full manifestation of Grace.

..I think originally, death - sheol of the Old Testament, was simply the grave (which i imagine as beds with headstones , all awaiting His voice when "some will rise to a resurrection of life, but some to a resurrection of judgment - greek word of decision.." - this, during "the judgment", is when I believe "all the ends of Earth will remember - hebrew word is will come to their senses - and turn to the LORD, and all families of the nations will worship!" PS. 22:27.
I believe originally all fiery judgment(s) are earthly - noT any, sort of hell! ..also earthly, the lake(s) of fire (1, at Jesus' return at Armageddon where there's all that oil underground; 2, the one in Rev. 20 after Satan's release from his imprisonment he went to at Jesus' return, when he inspires once again war but fire falls..; and 3, at Rev. 21:1-5 when God makes all things new :banana: and He, Who is love, becomes "all in all".. and the "new heavens and new Earth where rightness will dwell" which 2 Peter spoke of, "after the elements burn with a ferocious heat"..
God Himself is a consuming fire.. purity consumes impurity.. But God will not literally burn folks. :faint: That is 100% a pagan/nonChristian belief (bless their hearts.. they couldn't help it I guess.. Being a teaching of demons, a very "strong delusion".. Imagine! Thinking God who is love and "is perfect" literally burning folks with fire.
Even the fiery Armageddon i believe is human doings.. called 'wrath of God` which I think is a way of saying cosequences which even the most inhumane beastly humans can understand, ultimately. To the worst of the worst, predators, etc, threat, after all, may be necessary in God's endeavor to turn them away from hurting others.. As Jesus said, each one will recieve as they have done.. And Obadiah (15?) "your doings will return on your own head" - No threats of literal place called hell. :gsmile: :banana: :cloud9:
