I think that living in another culture helps us to put things in perspective. Perhaps I look at America differently now, and what I see isn't all so good.
It could be Italy, but it could be another country as well. I like the fact that we are all different.
Unfortunately, sometimes religion wants us to all be identical.
Maybe that's part of why Jesus was so critical against the religious..?
