Hi, greetings from southeast Alabama! My name is Jamie Fields, and I'm 29 years old. I am brand spanking new to considering UR. Like I've been studying it like maybe a little under a year, and I have to be honest, I'm scared to death! All my searching and disecting thus far has shown me one thing for sure, that you can't trust most translations and concordances today. I joined here mainly to look for truth, and I'm still looking. I sure hope you guys can bear with my many, many questions on UR. Thx and look forward to getting to know you guys.

So where do I ask questions?

Look through the sub-forums and find a thread title of interest to you.  For that matter, outside the forum, there's tons of information on this site (best site on the www, in my opinion).  Welcome to the tent!  :friendstu: :gimmefive: :friendstu:
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

Can I start one myself? Sorry for the stupid questions but I'm still figuring out how all this works

jabcat

yes, you can start one..just go to a section you wish to post in (such as Christian Life) and hit 'New Topic' and go from there
The oldest known manuscripts agree with each other 99% of the time.  The scriptures, accurately translated, Spirit revealed - reliable.   Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Heb. 12:2

Questions are the pathway to understanding.

Ask and it shall be given to you
Knock and the door shall be opened
Seek and you shall find
The Logos is complete, but it is not completely understood. http://www.hell-is-a-myth.webs.com/

Shaken down, pressed, and filled full to the brim.
