Hi People.  I'm new here- so I guess this is what I'm supposed to do now?  Haha.  (Sorry- I laugh alot).

Two things first:  I got my screen name from something Keith Green said once.  (ie.  A true christian is someone who is Bananas for Jesus!).  Haha.  I know it's not biblical- but I always thought it was funny.

Also:  I am the worst technologically aware person on here.  How I'm even typing in this message is beyond me.  Haha.

I have been surfing his site for a year now.  I just figured I would finally post something.

About me...

I am 43 and have been a believer since I was 9.  I was raised Catholic Charismatic.  If you don't know what that is- it's a Catholic who gets born-again and stays in the Catholic church instead of going to an evangelical church.  So I'm used to not fitting in and getting odd looks.  When I would hear evangelicals say "matter of factly" that catholics aren't christians I would tilt my head like a dog does and give that funny look of "What?  What are you talking about?".  Haha.  But nonetheless we always intermingled with evangelicals- so I can hold my own in any type of debate or discussion.  I would still say I am Catholic. 

My crazy years were when I mainly attended Pentecostal churches.  OMG.  Stories, stories.  I have sooo many stories.  Haha.

But why I am here...

A).  Even when I accepted Jesus into my heart at 9yo, I couldn't understand how Jesus would knowingly create billions of people KNOWING they wouldn't accept Him- JUST to send them to hell for eternity.  Even at the worst story, 70 years of sinning gets billions and billions of years of eternal torture and suffering?  Like Jesus was sitting around one day thinking "Hmm.  Ya' know what?  I think I'm gonna create some people and just to throw them into hell".  The angels would be like "But Master!  They didn't ask to be born!" to which Jesus would say "I don't care.  I like to see people suffer.  I need someone to populate this Hell I am gonna create". 

When people ask this question to Evangelicals- I would always cringe at the answer or response- knowing what was coming.  Something to the effect of "God doesn't send people to hell.  They choose to go there".  I don't know what God they were following- but it wasn't the Jesus I knew.  But I kept silent.

B).  Hell has absolutely NO place in my relationship with Jesus Christ.  If it does- I question those people's relationship with God.  I love Jesus because... well, because I love Him!  Not because I don't wanna go to hell.
