Hi all! And I mean ALL, lol! I'm a middle-aged country girl who finally feels free to look seriously at the claims of UR. I've been in church most of my life. Had a real born-again experience in 1984. In fact, my testimony was used on a well-known evangelical radio program and went around the world back in 2004. But I've always choked on trying to "evangelize" by telling people the good news that they are going to "split hell wide open" (Man, I hate that term!) if they don't pray some simplistic little prayer. I really apologize for the sarcasm, but that's how it always felt to me, even though I love Jesus with all my heart and truly, truly believe in Him and in the Bible. My sweet husband has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home. That's a story in itself. God is merciful!! Praise the Lord! Anyway, I look forward to getting to know people here and learn more. :blah:

Hi wildflowers! Love your username! :)
I was born in 1984. (I like to tease my older friends, you'll get used to it.) :)
I worked in a nursing home for Alzheimer's patients. It's a really tough thing and it breaks my heart that you and he are going through that. The hardest part for me was watching what it did to the family. If you ever want to unload to someone I'm just a pm or an email away. :HeartThrob:
Looking forward to your fellowship. :)
