Glad to be here, thanks for allowing me to join you folks. I believed in Universal reconciliation but got sucked back into the guilt and shame of dogma because I hadn't researched it in depth. Now that's pretty much all I want to do because the depression, the desire to drink alcohol to numb out or just plain die to escape the confusion is gone. Finally! It all is starting to make sense!
Welcome and so glad to hear of the victory
For me, if it wasn't for believing in UR, I was definitely on my way to becoming "the two fold child of hell", a child of "the grave" and "darkness"
Blessings
Thank you, it has been very confusing and I am in a small town and it seems all ministers here teach eternal damnation. My daughter was 8 when a minister screamed that everyone was going to hell. She's 15 and refuses to enter a church. I look forward to sharing the truth with her.
Welcome.
Sunday tends to be kind of slow day here, more people will be along directly. :)
Welcome, Sojourner!
May this become an oasis of discussion, learning, sharing, contemplating, sharing fellowship, and actually, more than you might think, having a few laughs, too.
The journey is as important as the destination.

Welcome, Sojourner,
A place where we can grow in truth and grace.
Because I do believe the Lord Jesus Christ is with us all , as we look to Him . :dsunny:
Welcome Sojourner! Enjoy your stay, however long it will be.
Hello Sojourner,
It is good that you are here.
Welcome,
Pat
Thanks to everyone! I really enjoy reading the posts here and it makes me feel less alone in the world.
Good. You are not alone.
You have friends here, and Jesus is a very present help in times of trouble.
"I will never leave you or forsake you.."

The accuser, satan, tries to heap on the guilt.
Christ has erased any possible charge/sin that satan tries to use- that was all literally nailed to the cross.
The love of God through Christ CANNOT BE REMOVED BY ANYTHING.
The experiences you listed I.M.O now make you appreciate Christ to a deeper level- wisdom comes through experience.
May our Lord shine on you and give you peace.
WELCOME!
