Hello everyone my name is James. I come from a traditional ECT denom background and Universalism has interested me lately. Been reading some of the article here at Tentmaker and looking to dive further into the subject.
There is also another interest I have. I'm also eager to learn the Biblical Languages(Koine Greek,Biblical Hebrew and Aramaic). I was wondering if anyone here knows any good online or brick and mortar schools/seminaries that teach the Original Languages?
Hello, James, you've found the best little corner of the www! :friendstu: :gimmefive: :friendstu:
The original languages? Where to send you is past my pay grade. I use on-line interlinear versions and lexicons, plus Strong's/Young's and the OED.
Welcome James!
I have been here about 2 years and very happy I came.
Coming from a conservative background, I never imagined that there were Christian Universalists, nor that I would ever be one, but I am very much at peace with my God, and with people, these days.
May you be blessed with this website and on your journey.
D.
Welcome James!
I don't know about brick and mortar, but John Dobson's koine course is excellent for a teach yourself experience, and he does Hebrew too. It's inductive, so you get reading quicker.
The Biblical Language Institute is inductive too.
:cloud9: Hi and welcome to the forum. May you be richly blessed...
:hiya: and :welcome: :welcome: God bless!
I
love Biblehub.com 's interlinear - http://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/1-1.htm (http://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/1-1.htm) (Old Testament reading right to left) and parallel - http://biblehub.com/genesis/1-1.htm (http://biblehub.com/genesis/1-1.htm)
And I have their app on my phone
(I was looking for a course an acquaintance posted on facebook, but I couldn't find it..)
