Title: Hello!
Post by: Derek on November 17, 2008, 07:19:41 PM
Hello everyone!

My name is Derek and I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

It's been a while since I've posted on Tentmaker (seems the boards change or get re-done every once and a while), but I'm happy to be back.

I've been a believer almost my entire life, and saw the truth of universal reconciliation back in about 1996 (due in significant part to Gary Amirault's early forays on the web and a very early version of tentmaker).

Look forward to some good discussions as we seek the truth in love!

Derek

Hey Derek,

Craig here! How have you been?

Hi Craig!

I have been well thanks, though life has been rather too hectic at times.  A lot of that is just a product of the stage my family and kids are at - they do keep me running around!  But God is great, and His blessings are rich - I am thankful!

How are things with you - still working in the NE?

Derek

willieH, thanks for the graphically-eloquent welcome!

Craig, sorry to hear that - hope you aren't getting discouraged.  I will pray for you...what kind of work are you looking for?

I don't believe I am qualified for much other than sales and marketing. So I am looking for anything in sales that will give me the ability to save up for schooling.

OK Craig, got it.

Don't limit yourself!  Sometimes a keen mind and a good attitude (both of which I'm confident you have!) can go a long ways to making up for any lack of "formal"  qualifications.
