Lawmaker wants to make 'Merry Christmas' official

The Associated Press
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- A Florida lawmaker doesn't want to hear "Season's Greetings" or "Happy Holidays" on Dec. 25 - just "Merry Christmas."

I really wonder how many people really mean"be blessed, our savior came, finally peace" when they say merry christmas?
I think it is more the same as "how ya doing" and people really are anticipating a truthful response :2c:

Maybe the people that don't know that the Magi arrived (about) that day (14 months after the fact)

Yes, and we, too, every year, get to experience the joy and wonder the wise men experienced when they met the Christ child.

1Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

...and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

11And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

--Mat 2

O, come let us adore him,

O, come let us adore him,

Christ, the Lord.
