I am a bloke from the UK; a student of history, art and music. i am also a lifetime atheist and a regular poseur on the Atheist Network. (Sits back and awaits the cries of welcome).

So you must actually think then. Unlike most that just accept what ever comes down the pike. Good for you, Im sure if you are a serious thinker and if you hang around here you will find universalism makes perfect sense.

Welcome and let me say we had an atheist here a couple years ago that spent quite a few months with us. He was one of the nicest of people and I was sorry to have lost track of him. He became like family and I remember a couple times he did a credible job defending "UR" when some rowdy ET'ers came casting aspersions. (brings back fond memories)

Glad you made it. Like I inferred in my mail to you by the welcomes you have already received, you see we are not a bunch of loonies here :prankster: well at least for most part. (psst guys better sharpen those pencils :grin:)
To all the members Transponder was one of the few people I had intelligent debate with on IPOG and has some interesting views. The one thing I can say he is respectful but will offer his views on subjects.
Having only folks in agreement here makes for a boring life IMO.
After all it is a discussion forum and debate keeps us :dbook:

Thank you Seeker and one and all. That looks promising. I'm not even sure what Universalism is (you worship the universe?) but I'm sure I'll find out.
I anticipate amicable discussion as I'm always learning something new. And, in the end, I'm not going to throw a wobbly if I don't persuade anyone, so I guess we'll all get along fine.
