Greetings in the merciful name of Jesus Christ !!!

I am new to the concept of Universal Salvation but I am more deeply convinced each day that Yahweh would not abandon his creation to burn in Hell for eternity. I have been digging into multiple translations and the Tentmaker site itself and I am now convinced that the heart of God is to love and forgive, not to condemn and to turn away.
Praise God for this GOOD NEWS and thanks so very much for being obedient to the Lord's call Gary!!! I am finally finding peace with what I grew up believing to be an angry, sadistic God.
My wife grew up as a Baptist preacher's kid and is having some issues dealing with the conflict between the traditional turn-or-burn mentality of the mainline denominations and the comfort and peace she feels with the UR doctrine. She finds herself very tormented by the thoughts of herself or anyone else burning for eternity which drives her to tears. She is the one who first  was lead to Tentmaker. She and I have both found great peace following the revelation of this truth to us but we still struggle against the "brain washing" of an entire lifetime of being forced to believe what does not really appear to be "Biblical Truth".
Your prayers and wisdom on this matter are gratefully accepted.
