God is Love... and that's always true no matter what we think.

That is quite a testimony. I too used to be worried that I had done the unpardonable sin. I was always fearful that in some unguarded moment that I would do something to really make God mad at me. So I can relate. In my case, I projected my views of how God was, from how I was treated by people around me. It's sad how people who are basically trying to do the right thing. Go to church, tithe, etc. can be misled, and in a state of anxiety and such. Jesus came to set us free, from the law of sin and death. When it comes to religion, there are so many competing voices. For myself I pray for discernment. The Bible counsels us to test the spirits. What I've learned is not every one who sounds like a believer is one. Sometimes the voice is Jacob's and the arms are like Esau's, that's why as a believer I need discernment. Thanks for your testimony, and I hope the best for you in your new relationship. I know that when you find love on this side of heaven, it is wonderful. My wife spoils me rotten...

Quote: I deserved it just as much as him.  It's just that God had had mercy on me so that I was saved and Jesus lives in me.  Other than that, we were just the same.  I knew that what he did - had God not had mercy on me... I would have been just as powerless when Satan came to take me.  I had no luxury of considering myself more holy or righteous than him. I know I was saved completely by the grace of God and nothing of myself.  I had no self-righteousness whereby to look at him without mercy and pity in his totally depraved, through and through his soul, state and think, "He deserved it!"... and make eternal torment in hell "okay" and... just not care anymore... and not still pity him in his fallen state.  (No matter how wicked he became.) End Quote

What a powerful testimony...and this part was especially touching to me...God bless you.

Quote: But, instead, I came to realize the lake of fire will destroy all evil and he, too, will receive the same grace of salvation I have. End Quote

Where is the Testimony????

I think of a Testimony as.....

What lead up to you believing,
things that happened in your life (about God),
when you were Baptized/
when you received the gift of the Holy Ghost(Raptured -slate clean-Heaven)
.....and you life since (the milenium of your life, when you have temptation again.
