Yes, the critics do not actually care about the haitians it is more in their interest to critisize.  They pretend to care, but they do not.

The task of getting aid to 3 million people that need it all at once is something that could never be done perfectly.   The critics have no way to do it any better except in the false imaginations.   Sure a handfull of people can get their quickly and the critics equate that to being able to aid 3 million people all at once. they are delusional.

Kudos to what has been done so far, and as for the things that are said that are wrong, they can always be found in any situation.  Perhaps the critics who believe they are so smart should have predicted this earthquake and already had the perfect plan laid out and put into place, but no the emotional leeches come in when they can do not good at all with their banter.   Useless they are.

I will keep hoping for the best in a chaotic situation that is a huge task that if left to the critics would be a dismal and complete failure.

This is so true. I saw this during Hurricane Katrina too. Everyone was blaming Bush, the Republicans, the Democrats, the Mayor Ray Nagin, etc etc. I read a book about the whole thing by LG Russell L Honore, the Army General who was in charge of overseeing the relief effort and he said it best. No one is to blame. Mother Nature did this and everyone is trying to do their best. Were there mistakes? Of course but to place blame on anyone is simply wrong.

Unless the food, water, and emergency medicine is right there at the location it's gonna take a while for it to get there. The same broken roads that slow you down also slow down the relief workers. Only so much can be done by helicopter. Regardless of what everyone thinks the gov't is NOT a miracle worker. They have to deal with the same laws of physics as everyone else.

I'm sure everyone is doing their best but it's gonna take time.
