A few days ago I went on an atheist forum out of curiosity to see what their response would be to UR. Although it was as expected, a negative one. But, not as much as you would think. They also had some nice things to say to me. For example they said they appreciated that Universalists are not judgmental and are not bible thumpers. Also, later on I discovered that there are a bunch of theists there also. And I started looking at some of the threads where there are debates going and it was very interesting. I didn't participate, I just read and it was very informative. I heard some theists doing an excellent job at talking to the atheists and it stirred me up. And I was just surprised to experience being impacted in my faith in a positive way while there, thats all, and thought I'd share it as a testimony here at the Tent. :happy3:
As far as im concerned, im here to preach to the Gentiles lol!
I know that sounds a bit 'Paul-ine' and im not trying to be that way, but trying to convince et'ers that God is love, is beyond them. They are happy worshipping a monster that will eternally fry most of mankind....Atheists and agnostics have more sense (specially agnostics).

ha! we think alike.
It's true though.
ET'ers... a lot of them have that wall built up around their heart. They'll never get to the truth unless that wall is broken down brick by brick. Actually, a bulldozer would be nice.
That's why most ET'ers who are the fryhards, have no problem with condemning so many to hell, and even joking about it at times... you can tell... they are not actually FEELING or THINKING aboutr what it is that they believe. The WALL is there. Once the wall starts to crumble, and they actually FEEL what it is they believe... then and only then can truth start to seep in if they seek.
This is why their compassion levels are a bit off.
God works on the heart.
For some, it just won't happen in their lifetime.
God knows why... And God will turn everything around.
Throwing the seed all around, a hardcore ET'ers heart is one that will have a hard time letting those seeds take root. Whereas, a lot of atheists and agnostics I know... the soil can be a tad bit more fertile. A lot of them do not have a wall around their heart. They don't believe in God because they CAN'T believe in a being who would torture anyone, much less for an eternity. what they don't realize is they are not rejecting God. They are rejecting the OPPOSITE of God.
Everything in it's time.
God's plan is perfect.
:HeartThrob:
Just keep proclaiming the good news! :happy3:
