The most recent trouble with the forum seems to be the result of the webhost having to turn off the server when the node in their datacenter that included the Tentmaker server was under a DDOS (distributed denial of service) attack.
When the server was turned back on, all of a sudden links that formerly worked, no longer worked.
I have searched for clues to find a remedy and think at this time that the problem is solved. (But that will only be confirmed when people can post messages here and follow links to messages which actually go to the message, instead of bumping them back to the homepage of Tentmaker.org.)
I will be watching the forum to see signs of return to normal function.
To all who have been mysteriously unable to access the forum, but are now back, welcome. And keep praying for the smooth working of the Tentmaker sites and this forum.

Thanks Karen !! God bless you for all your troubles keeping the forum going !
So happy that the site is back and running. I thought it might be my computer causing the problem.
Thank you!

Dear Karen: what an amazing resource you are! Thank you.
"He comes to us in the brokenness of our health, in the shipwreck of our family lives, in the loss of all possible peace of mind, even in the very thick of our sins. He saves us in our disasters, not from them. He emphatically does not promise to meet only the odd winner of the self-improvement lottery. He meets us all in our endless and inescapable losing." -Robert Farrar Capon-

Hi David,
Thank you for the heads up on that situation.
I tried editing my post and it did not work.
I will be searching for the cause of this glitch.
Karen
Thumbs up to the tech team. This site needs to keep going, it's too important to lose.

Dear Karen. We still have a glitch with what we post. Those wascally ? marks appear at intervals that distract from the content. Thank you again for all you do. This site means much to us! In His awesome love, David
I was wondering what happened. Thought that TM was done for and it closed shop. Glad to see it back up and running again.

I'm new; this may be common knowledge already.
I found a work around, at least for me. If I draft something in Word and then post it, I experience this problem; but, if I copy and paste my draft into Notepad, and then copy and paste
that into a post, problem seems to be solved.
Still in flux, but generally working. TY
