Title: Universalist license plates
Post by: Forgiven on September 16, 2007, 03:41:01 AM
My wife has HEKM4U2. Any ideas that I might consider? Seems like a simple way to give a small but effective witness and generate discussion/interest in UR. We are allowed seven letters/spaces.
Thanks and kind regards.

That's nice. Mine says "HESAVED" not He Saves. Obviously, I chose that in the beginning of my experience with UR. Now, I know He saved AND He also saves!

I can't think of a license plate tag that would be short enough, but I was thinking about a picture I just saw in my mind's eye.

I saw Jesus dying on the cross and all the people he died for; the prostitute was there selling her body, the drunk was there buying another bottle, the drug addict was there putting a needle in his arm, the abusive husband was there beating his wife, the homeless man or woman was there trying to find shelter, the self-righteous was there doing what self-righteous people do, the Hollywood star was there acting in another movie, the rich singer was there singing in a concert, the average Joe and Jill was there doing what they do everyday to feed, clothe and shelter their families.

I saw all these people at the cross while Jesus was dying for their sins. None of them were aware of what He did for them, but that didn't matter. He died for us while we were sinners and didn't know we needed him.

Yes Amen! He will draw ALL men up into that cross too and not stop till He is on the other side of resurrection with that same ALL! Wow what a God!

My friend (now transitioned) who introduced me to the idea God would save all had this on his license plate for many years:

sidenote:

The only license plate or bumper sticker that EVER stuck in my mind and made me think was...

Love Your Enemies

That was over 10 years ago.
Don't know why...
it just stuck in my mind and I filed it away, and it came back to me years later when I was trying to figure out God and what the heck was up with him and hell.  :laughing7:

It might work on a license plate in England? Their plates are really long.  :icon_king:
