You know who Treyvon is, but who am I ?
Why don't you know me? Could it be my skin color.....
You won't recognize me. My name was Antonio West and I was the 13-month old child who was shot at point blank range by two black teens who were attempting to rob my mother, who was also shot. A Grand Jury of my mommy's peers from Brunswick GA determined the teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty...too bad I was given a death sentence for being innocent and defenseless.
My family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder was not ruled a Hate Crime. Nor did President Obama take so much as a single moment to acknowledge my murder.
I am one of the youngest murder victims in our great Nation's history, but the media doesn't care to cover the story of my tragic demise, President Obama has no children who could possibly look like me - so he doesn't care and the media doesn't care because my story is not interesting enough to bring them ratings so they can sell commercial time slots.
There is not a white equivalent of Al Sharpton because if there was he would be declared racist, so there is no one rushing to Brunswick GA to demand justice for me. There is no White Panther party to put a bounty on the lives of those who murdered me. I have no voice, I have no representation and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat innocently in my stroller - I no longer have my life.
So while you are seeking justice for Treyvon, please remember to seek justice for me too. Tell your friends about me, tell you families, get tee shirts with my face on them and make the world pay attention, just like you did for Treyvon

Just know that you are loved and that you are bathed in light, something I can only imagine the peace it must bring to the many like you. Do not be concerned about justice here on Earth, for what justice can man bring that is not laced in motives that are not based in Love.
No person will ever find enduring justice here and it is my prayer that you look to the giver of light and see that justice is unneeded. You might also wonder of the countless black kids who have died since the death of Treyvon; you know that they found no justice either.
There are angels everywhere, seek comfort through them and from them. Love knows no boundaries. Love cannot be bound or taken away. Love is inter-dimensional as is the Spirit of Love. Only love can bring you piece. Pray for Treyvon and his family too. I am sure he is shocked as you at the miscarriage of justice; not towards him alone, but to every other person that leaves loved ones way to soon.
Remember always, death is not the end, it is just the beginning. I will meet you one day Antonio and I will remember you and greet you with love. You are my brother even now, my love is your love.

Why and for what reason is Trayvon Martin brought up on a discussion board that deals with UR? Just wondering? :dsunny:
Maybe it would better fit the Revelation thread, usually that is the current event update. Yeah it's sarcasim, but Mr. Matrin's case is social and now even political, and as far as I know nothing to do with UR. I may be incorrect, but it's just my opinion. :dsunny:
I think that many of us come here not to discuss "UR" per se, but to be a family. Families talk about everything. For many this is the only place to go where there are people who love God, who have the same views and do not shun us because we believe God is saving all. I wish it was more welcomed here to discuss anything on our hearts, among brothers and sisters who care. Ded is upset and is sharing his concerns with us, his family. If Tentmaker is completely against that maybe we should look into a different forum where we can just be the Body together? I so long for something like that!!

I am not trying to obstinate but there are social forums to discuss social things. I was told that should one have opinions and want to be heard to write a book. The Zimmerman has little to do with UR, of course that just my opinion. I don't know if "If Tentmaker is completely against..." social discussions, I just thought what does Trayvon Martin have to do with UR. And yes, at least I hope we are a family. :HeartThrob:
