If Time is considered linear and represented by a straight line of  180deg. Then it is easy to conjecture that infinity/eternity can be identified by a circle . A circle has no beginning and no ending. A circle can be divided ever smaller or larger depending on ones' position, by pi for infinity/eternity. Infinitely dividing the circle represents physical space and an eternity of time is needed to make the divisions. Infinity/eternity can then be described by 360 deg.

Obsessed with numbers... not really. I think many calculations are fake. Like computer=666
But looking at the Bible God seems to like deeper meanings, hidden meanings, trap doors, many numbers openly keep reoccuring. So for me it's pretty sure God also has added numbers to the puzzle.
But only in the source text?
That brings me to the number of letters in KJV. They are part from a calculation. That would prove it was inspired and hell an forever are correct translations. But I find the numerical proof weak.

Many calculations have be done in history to find the anti-christ. Or even looking at paintings. Poetin seems to look exactly like someone on a painting with Jesus on it. Can only very vaguely remember the story.

This number appears throughout the Old and New Testaments. As an example, the dimensions for the construction of the Ark that Yahweh gave to Noah add up to 3,168 cubits. In addition to these scriptural references, there are some mind-boggling numeric proportions and measurements affiliated with this number:

31,680,000 ft. = perimeter of The New Jerusalem
31,680 miles = perimeter of the Earth
31,680 furlongs = radius of the Earth
3,618 MMi. = perimeter of the Moon
316,800 MMi. = diameter of the Sun
316,800 inches = perimeter of the Cities of Refuge
316.8 ft. = Sarsen Circle (Stonehenge) circumference

I still have what he got in an email with the attachment of the results. The programs also lists the probability stats and on my code it was over a million to one. It was fascinating.

I have seen several codes, there is a Frenchman who is doing a lot of them; I know two people who are. They have found a LOT of them, and there is simply NO WAY, this is coincidence. Blessings...

Don't worry I was joking, it looked like I was having a go at you, now that I re read it.

I hope to buy the bible software one day, usefull for checking some things out. I do wonder about it's potential of abuse though and that does worry me a bit. One thing I hope I won't do is steal a copy of the bible software, I don't think that will go down to well with God.

I bet most people spoke both Greek, and Aramaic, and in the case of the Jews - Hebrew, in the case of the Roman guards/governance - Latin.

If that region where "America" for example;

Greek was the English of the time, Aramaic the Spanish, Hebrew was well...pretty much Hebrew, and Latin was the legal jargon of the politicians  :laughing7:

World War II events for 1944 also land on the Bible verse of the correct month according to D-day and May, June, July 1944. Psalm 44:5 (May 5th month) "Through thee will we push down our enemies" (a future tense here getting ready for D-day) Psalm 44:6 (June 6th month) "For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me." (Big battle must trust in God June 6, 1944) Psalm 44:7 (July 7th month) "But thou hast saved us from our enemies" (we pushed them back "thou hast saved us"). Psalm 46 says "He makes wars to cease" and 1946 is the year after WWII. More events properly foretold in the Psalms are the Y2K problem, WTC attack, El nino, Saddam Hussein's month long Babylonian party in 1987 with Psalm 87 and a whole lot more. The book also shows how 23 science constant power numbers like 10^27 light, 10^38th power as gravity, all are described on the correct Psalm number like Psalm 27:1 "The Lord is my light" and 10^-27 power is a power number of light in science. Many of these science keys words like 'heavy' for gravity in Psalm 38 "heavy burden" shows up in 38 scriptures of the Bible and 10^-38 power is gravity in science! The 'speedy' electron is talked about in Psalm 31 and 10^-31 actually is the mass of the electron and the word speed, speedily, speeded, shows up in 31 scriptures of the Bible, incredible! There are hundreds of scriptures in the book where the verse numbers equal the content of the verse. There are some real surprises and 'gems' from the Bible in this book. This book convicts the Bible of being the "inspired Word of God."
The "ACTUAL PROOF OF MY EXISTENCE" book has good numbers.

The Newtonian constant of gravitation over h-bar c has the number 39.
The Newtonian gravity constant from the "National Institute of Standards and Technology" (NIST) webpage has 10^39 for a power number.

John D. Barrow's book called "THE CONSTANTS OF NATURE" mentions 10^-38 power for `gravity' a number of times in the book.

The "QUANTUM PHYSICS" encyclopedia by John Gribbin has gravity at 10^-38 times weaker than the strong force.

It looks like the numbers in the power range (10^38 - 10^39) are good for gravity like Psalm 38:4 with the word "HEAVY" in it twice. The word "WEIGHT" (related to gravity) only appears 4 times in the NT, the first one is in John 19:(39) and chapter 19 is half of 38.

If you need the 10^42-10^43 range for gravity, Psalm (38 + verse 4) = 42 or 3 x 84 = 252 (42 x 6). Psalm 38:4 is also (3 + 84) = 87 (43.5 x 2). The word "HEAVY" only appears 7 times in the New Testament, one verse is Matthew 26:(43), another "HEAVY" word appears in 1 Kings 20:(43).

Regarding Psalm 31:2 and the word "SPEEDILY", `speed' can also refer to "LIGHT SPEED" which is about 186,000 miles per second, (186 is the base number) and 186 is a multiple of 31 (like Psalm 31), (31 x 6) = 186. The Psalms are the 19th book of the Bible making the full address for Psalm 31:2 (19312), 1 x 9 x 31 x 2 = 558 (186 x 3); also 1 x 93 x 12 = 1116 (186 x 6). All words with "SPEED" as the root word (speed, speedily etc.) appear 31 times in the KJV Bible (186 / 6) = 31. The first "SPEED" word in the Bible is in Genesis book #1, in Genesis 24:12, (12412) is the full Bible address with book #1, (124 x 12) = 1488 (186 x 8). The first "QUICKLY" word in the Bible is in Genesis 18:6, (186 are the numbers) like 186,000 miles per second QUICK (186 x 1000).

The mass of the electron is 9.109 x 10^-31, it starts with "9" as in (9.109), using the Psalm 31:2 numbers, (12 - 3) = "9" or (3 x 12) = 36 ("9" x 4).

"SPIN" would surely be related to the ELECTRON, because electrons `spin' around the atom, the word "SPIN" only appears 3 times in the KJV Bible (out of 31, 102 verses), one is in Matthew 6:28, we have verse 28 like 10^-28 grams (MASS of the ELECTRON) and 62 x 8 = 496 (31 x 16) with 31 like 10^-31 kilograms (MASS of the ELECTRON). Matthew 6:28 "And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they (SPIN)." Matthew 628 = (314 x 2) like PI (3.14), what we use to measure the circumference of a circle, or things SPINNING in a circle. Matthew 6:28 is also 62 - 8 = 54 ("9" x 6) with that "9 times" thing again as in 9.109 x 10^-28 grams, 54 itself is 5 + 4 = 9.

The "ACTUAL PROOF" book brings forth many more correct power numbers like these. Don't listen to those who would try to invalidate the book by using a few numbers of their own "out of context"; this book has many, many more correct scientific numbers and correct historical dates related to the Bible.

Hey WW I have got to ask since I have been told you are an athiest, just what is your purpose of gathering all the information that you do on the many things you do? Are you in pursuit of proof that may change your mind,  are you trying to show that the Bible and God are foolish to follow?
You are an athiest who seems, at least to me, as a well read person of the Bible, why do you bother if you are an athiest? Or is your athiestism fragile? I find your information very informative but aint it all just a science to you? I mean all the numbers and years and the sites that you find, are you trying to build up the faith of the forum or is it maybe the Lord drawing you? I guess I should use a PM but I didnt.
After all the information that has been set forth by believers, do you question your stance? Do some of the posts cause you to consider God as real?

I also noticed (generally speaking) that ETs only have one topic. Death (hell)
UR teachers speak about history, Jewish society and customs, prophetic meaning of names, parables, patterns etc etc.
ETs main goal seems to prove hell.
Nagging about pitch black verses and even darker concepts. The search for darkens is far more important that the search for happiness.
Parables are only used to pronounce doom.
And in the rare occasion they look into patterns, again the aim is finding death and destruction.

It makes me think about the man that had a session with a psychiatrist for his sexual obsession.
The psychiatrist showed him dozens of cards with ink blots on them. You know the things that basically look like nothing but sometimes look a little like a flower or bird.
According to the man each picture showed breasts. So the psychiatrist told the man that he was clearly obsessed with breasts.
The man answered: No you are!; showing me dozens of pictures of breasts.

I just read this, don't know how I missed reading it.
I am like this also. I find it hard to trust people and I question everything, even my own reasonings at times. I think that is a good thing. I use to be different until I was almost brained washed by a certain organization.  I have had to change my mind on many things that I use to believe. I have noticed on some forums that some posters tend to look to one person for the truth but I read everything and anything I can get my hands on. Truth comes from many different sources, of course God is the giver of all truth but I don't think he uses one person to give it to.    SORRY, BACK ON TOPIC.

10 is fullness.
Then it's not hard to imagine that 10x49 is something big.

Take for example this verse:
ACVJohn 21
11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty-three. And being so many, the net was not broken.

What's the use of mentioning 153. Isn't mentioning that the net was so full that it almost burst enough?


ACVJohn 21
8 And the other disciples came in the skiff (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits off), dragging the net of the fishes.

Why mentioning 200 cubits (300ft, 91.44m)? Isn't "in the distance" detailed enough?

I'm con viced that anyone that doesn't know why those numbers are mentioned, doesn't fully understand that verse or a verse elsewhere in the Bible. Note that I'm not saying that someone who figured out a number understands the verse better that someone else. There are layers. The number game is just one layer. Not the only layer. But like in this verse I think it can at least be used to verify translation errors.


The numerical value of the Greek word for "fishes" is 1224 = 153 x 8  (John 21:8)
The numerical value of the Greek word for "net" is also 1224 = 153 x 8 (John 21:11)


In Greek the word order is different than in the English translations.

"drew the net to land, full of fishes" = 153 x 31
"of great a hundred and fifty three" = 153 x 23

"Fishers of men" = 153  x 14 (Mark 1:17)

There are 2 spellings for the word "fishes" in Greek.
One has the above mentioned value of 153 x 8 = 1224.
The other spelling has a value of 170 x 11 = 1870

The funny thing is that in every fishing related verse 153 and 170 pops up.



What's the use of the above? I don't know. Besides it's funny it doesn't give me a deeper understanding of the verses. But it's a bit of extra proof for divinity. That's worth something too I guess.
I can also imagine the following situation. A heated debate on some subject. For example salvation. After a lot of arguments and counter arguments some fishes verses seem to hold the key to the debate. Unfortunately the 2 different Bibles the opponents swear by translate the verse slightly different and nothing is solved. Eventually only the Greek can answer the correctness of translation. But there are different Greek manuscripts too. I believe that the inspired one can be spotted with the above numbers....
But then; I'm just a number geek  :laughing7:

To me it's a faith builder for those young in the faith, because such things DO build your faith (it did mine) towards Him and the undeniable fact that the scriptures are inspired by a non-human source.

God created numbers; they are a portion of something that in this realm only is able to be portioned in the first place: HIS Spirit. He fragmented Himself and lowered Himself into His creation.

So the creation has to mirror some aspect of Himself, and since His plan for the ages is part of Him (how do you seperate what He says from what He is?) as it came out of Him, then it can only be that numbers "speak" something of Him and His plan. Blessings....

Peter went up to where Jesus is where He fed them, that was the third time he revealed himself to them.  They dragged (as in I will draw all men to myself) 153 fish, but he had told them they would be fishers of men, right after this is when He restores Peter, and asks him 3 times to tend His sheep.


153 men go up on a mountain to retrieve Elijah who is a prophet to recieve a [THE] word from God. 

2 Kings 1, Elijah is up on the mountain and doesn't want to come down because he is afraid of his life.  a captain 1 + guard 50 are sent to get him

first two 51's go demand he come down and he calls fire down from heaven on them.  3rd captain humbles himself, and Elijah comes down.

It's similar to astrology, just a different method. And it's evil because, 1) only God knows the end from the beginning, and 2) it's not looking to HIM as the source of direction and counsel. And once in agreement with these types of activities, entities behind the particular "art", have a legal right to go forth and BRING ABOUT, whatever was "predicted", and they can and DO.

The core essence of witchcraft is self-will/governing. And a surprising number of things fall into that category, besides the obvious like these two things I just discussed. Blessings....

Yikes.  So that's how they do it.  Some of these people are uncanny in predicting the future.  Then you are saying if we looked to God instead of demons, the future might be different?

Seems to me it is the intention or use behind these things that determine whether they be black magic/witchcraft or spiritual, not the numbers, or miracles.

 :cloud9: I don't think you have anything to worry about WW......you're getting your numbers out of His book and aligning it with scripture; not at all the same thing they do.

@ Molly....they are "uncanny" because a demon is supplying them with the information. It's a clear mimic, because the first thing they usually come up with to "hook" them is, something personal. A familiar spirit gives them that.

With God's Spirit, the first gift mentioned (and utilized) in the speaking gifts is word of knowledge, which He does to build up their faith to receive that it is Him speaking to them thru someone in His body. Word of knowledge is also personal, but usually on a level that ONLY the person and God could know.

The soul of man is so hungry for the spiritual manifestations of God, that it will latch onto the counterfeits unknowingly. And then begins a world of trouble......

A lot of number stuff on here, with some cool findings.  I don't understand a large portion of what he says as its all math and that is not my strong suit.  I was looking for 3x+1, happened on this site.  All the G triangles are 3x+1.  I have no idea what the significance is if any (besides as a proof for the divine inspiration of the bible).  His whole "thing" is Genesis 1:1.  All primes past 3 are 6x+1 or 6x-1  (6x+1= 2(3)x+1)

he's taking the gematria of Genesis 1:1 then representing it graphically.  Certain numbers are triangle numbers 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45, 55, ....

If you look at a set of bowling pins set up from the top down you would see 10 pins set in a triangle.  If you added a row with the same layout you would have 15 if you took a row away you would have 6.

If you look at the triangle numbers the 3x+1 numbers fall every two spots just like they do in the normal counting

I found something nice.
Short introduction for those who forgot the math.
2^3 = 2x2x2=8
4^3 = 4x4x4=64

A permutation is shuffeling the the digits of a number. 1234, 4321, 2314, 1423 are all permutations of teh same number. 1237 is not. Simply because the 7 is not in the other numbers.

Every Greek and Hebrew letter has a numerical value. A word has a value that's the of the letter values.
Jesus Christ in Greek has  a value 2368

Let's take a peek a Genesis 1:1 (not what we read a several words is just one word in Hebrew)

In the beginning = 913
created = 203
God = 86
Aleph Tav = 401 ---> The mysterious untranslated 2 letters
heaven = 395
and = 407
earth = 296

String those digits together:  91320386401395407296
9^3 + 1^3 + 3^3 + 2^3 ........ 6^3 = 3826
3826 is a permutation of 2368 (Jesus Christ)


Reverse word values (except the last one) 319+302+68+104+593+704+296=2386 => permutation 2368 Jesus Christ

Revelation 1:5 calls Jesus "the ruler [prince] of the kings of the earth." The Greek word translated "ruler" (or prince) is Archon. This word appears 37 times in the Greek New Testament. In biblical numerology, the number 37 means "Christ as the Word made flesh." In ancient times they did not use our modern numbers, which we call Arabic numerals. The Greeks and Hebrews used the letters of their alphabet, just as the Romans used "Roman numerals." This is the first time I've noticed this phrase--Jesus Christ who is...the prince of the kings of the earth.   Are you thinking he received this title when he became the Word made flesh?  I'm thinking he is the prince of all those who call him Lord, that is, we are the kings of the earth and he is our prince [archon, ruler].

Also 22,000 (gold drachmas and silver minas)  is the number of levites, number of cattle given to Job at the end. number of cattle sacrificed at consecration of 1st temple.
22 is the number of letters in the Hebrew alphabet, and number of books in the OT in its original ordering.

Er. Yes.

Forgive my utter ignorance, and I know it's not really the subject of this thread, but why is it people study Greek when it's my understanding that Jesus spoke Hebrew? Was the New Testament originally in that language? These probably sound really basic questions to most people here.  :mblush: Do feel free to just point me to a few threads and tell me to shut up.  :mblush:

People study Greek because there are no Hebrew NT manuscripts preserved. (to my best knowledge) Tiny summary. Church fathers wrote that they had at least a few books in Hebrew. If the Greek is translated 1 on 1 to Hebrew the verses become more fluent and meaningful.

Yes, also, there's really debate (uncertainty) about the topic.  Some say it was one way, some the other.  Some say Jesus spoke mainly Aramaic, some say Aramaic and Greek, some say all 3 (including Hebrew).  There are "scholars" on all sides of the issue.  I guess for me, bottom line is 2 things;  the Greek are the oldest manuscripts (generally) we have (New Testament), and I've read some (what I consider) reliable information that says the common folk in Jesus' day spoke Koine Greek.  (The Christian Bible is translated from that).   :2c:

The sides of Noah's ark are the same as the Hebrew word for ribs, Eve was formed from a rib, and it's the inner court realm in type, where the table of shewbread is. The rib is curved, a symbol of the soul (because of Eve), and like a boomerang, "she" is returning to His side as a covering (as the ribs cover the HEART, the heart is Christ).

This is why His side was pierced (veil rent), to prepare the way of return for the Bride. Jeremiah talks about a woman shall encompass (become a covering for) a man.

Devarim  in Hebraic understanding means the "mouth" of  Torah; a summarizing all that has happened before in "the main body."

Another word for this book in Hebrew is Suf Debar – last words.  It contains Moshe's last words, his farewell discourse and a song to Israel.

Agriculturally, Devarim/Deuteronomy means to point back to a food source, or head of the house.

Devarim is:  Dalet-bet-resh = Devar (word).  Dalet being the door, bet/resh is bar, the son. Debar, The Word is the door through which the Son comes.

Deuteronomy = Devarim = The Word is the door through which the Son comes.

In a way 50=8

The 49 days leading to Pentecost were:
- Regular 7 day weeks
- 7 Sabbaths

They sometimes were just called 7 days referring to 7 Sabbaths which are the most important days of the week. (just like some say the 70 weeks of Daniel are 70 Sabbath years)

8 is often viewed as a new beginning.
Basically Pentecost was too.

Obviously that means Pentecost was on Sunday and weeks were in sync with regular Sabbath. Counting back that pinpoints resurrection, wavesheaf etc.
The result of that is that some doctrines (like wednesday, thurday, friday crucifixion) are 'proven' wrong. So you won't have to look hard to find articles claiming otherwise :winkgrin:

I got to this thread very late, but I am very interested in this sort of thing.  I looked at "The mysterious untranslated 2 letters," and gave it some thought.  It's not really mysterious at all!  Aleph is the first letter in the Hebrew Alephbet, and Tav is the last.  So, we could translate the verse as:  "In the beginning created God first and last [alpha & omega [Jesus]] heaven and earth." 

We could also translate and understand Genesis 1:1 in this way:

In the beginning [TIME]

God created [ENERGY]

the heavens [SPACE]

and the earth [MATTER].

There it is folks, in the first verse of a Book most think is unscientific, are all the concepts of modern physics:  space/time and matter/energy.

I agree with that. I have it in my spreadsheet that shows groups of 4 that aligns colors, covenants, "things", "trinity", etc
