Title: The internet
Post by: eaglesway on February 10, 2015, 05:31:43 AM
I wonder has anyone considered that the one "who causes all things to work according to the counsel of His will" created the internet for the purpose of spreading the Good News of the Salvation of All? :o)

...and, to my way of thinking, to also spread the word of Bible prophecy, as it's opened (tho the understanding is like a Picasso painting still) - Daniel wrote it's closed/hidden til the time God opens it - When His people understand the times and the signs of the times and can pass on those prophecies to the unbelieving world and then they unfold in front of their sight.. Well, I'm reminded how in the prophets YHWH said over and over concerning things prophesied, "and then they shall know I am LORD" (God)

Prophecy was always important, and "the preaching of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy"-badly paraphrased I'm afraid.. human history like one of God's truth drama's like He had Ezekiel, for instance, pantomine or do a small drama to communicate to the people.. All prophecy, part of God's grand Truth proving drama, meant to be fully understood by all.. Clearly revealing that HE is God and LORD.

I think the internet is a gift from God. It is like a light exposing what evil is hidden in this world. And when a light is turned on the darkness disappears.

Its my opinion that the internet is like the world......there is much more evil than good within it. Yet I hopefully believe that the voice of the maturing Overcomer is sounding and being heard. So  :iagree: with EW.

I believe that ultimate universal reconciliation is a foundation doctrine. It is the sum, actually of two of the six foundation doctrines listed in Hebrews 6:1,2- The resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.

The doctrine of eternal judgment is the doctrine of "God's reasons". The "why's" or wisdom of all He has done. It is impossible to represent the I AM while misrepresenting the ultimate reason and purpose for what He has done.

No house can stand tall and true with two of six foundations missing or askew. IMO this is the reason Christianity has stalled out, especially in the western world- where it is a hollow shell and even a caricature of the biblical faith community.

For me UR isnt a tangent or a peripheral revelation.

It is pure milk of the word. It is at the core of the revelation of God's heart and His purpose in creation and His plan for the age. the word "prophecy" comes from a Hebrew word meaning "bubbling over". The testimony of Jesus Christ is the "Spirit of prophecy"- which is the bubbling up as from a well deep in the earth of the pure, clear refreshing Spirit of God- bearing His heart to humanity.

Nothing makes any sense until one realizes that God is reconciling and restoring all things in Christ. The doctrinal mutations required to explain things in the absence of, or in opposition to, these two foundation doctrines have produce some of the greatest strongholds and fortresses that exalt themselves against the true knowledge of God.

That's why I think Tentmaker is the greatest site on the worldwide web. And its the reason why promoting and explaining the Salvation of All has to remain in the forefront of our discussions. It is a holy calling, and it is our core "reason for being" in this internet plane.  :o)

I agree that the Internet is probably the best medium for sharing the truth of the evangel, and it's probably the way that all will see Christ when he returns to Jerusalem. I became aware of universal reconciliation online even though it took me a lot more searching and reading until I believed it because scripture translated correctly makes it obvious that it is the truth. It was a strange experience because I was on a die hard King James site when I suddenly and mysteriously got bounced to another site about universal reconciliation. I thought it had to be bogus because I never heard of it before. So I read as much as I could about it online trying to disprove it, but I gradually became convinced it had to be true. Then I was mad at the church for hiding it from me until I realized that was because it threatens the very foundation of the church which is irrational fear of torture in fire forever that's based on forgery in the translation of scripture after trying to suppress scripture first by killing people by burning them at the stake with real fire just for reading scripture. The church has an evil history, and it preaches an evil doctrine. The inspired written word of God reveals the truth that all on earth and in the heavens are reconciled to God through Christ's blood on the cross so that God may be all in all. I don't think most folks appreciate how blessed we are just to be able to read scripture without persecution at least in many parts of the world. Now it's not the church persecuting people for reading scripture because it has just distorted it to portray its lie. Now it's worldly governments leading the charge for invalidating scripture, and the US government is one of them by allowing the militant atheists to eliminate God in many aspects of our lives with the distorted belief that freedom of religion means freedom from religion. I think atheists should be able to share their unbelief if they want to just as believers should be able to share theirs, and we'll see who offers the most hope and understanding of the purpose of life. There's continuous debating online among atheists and believers, some who believe the truth of universal reconciliation and some who don't. If you believe it, you get attacked from both sides. Unfortunately the arguments usually just get to be emotional personal attacks instead of intelligent discussion based on documentation. Of course atheists don't accept scripture as valid, and most Christians don't accept an accurate translation of scripture as valid. But the important thing is that the Internet provides the medium for the sharing of information globally. Just don't believe everything you hear or even see. Check your source, and find other sources that agree before you begin to consider some information as valid. And keep an open mind because you're never too smart to learn something new. Remember how we all used to be convinced that hell is real until we found some new information that blew our minds. I'm glad God gave us the Internet because that's how I got know all the rest of you folks out there. God bless you all.

I remember back when the www signified the 666 mark of the beast.to some.and was judged of the churches evil.   has it been used by

the wicked[porn sites/witchcraft,astrology,prostitutions etc] yep.  that is why nothing is evil of itself. those that have good in thier heart

will use it for a good purpose/those with evil in their heart will use it for a means to the evil.

churches like jw's spoke against it[lest people eyes be opened and they lose their hold over them] finally realizing they could not stop it

they set up their own approved sites.

the amish in our area will not own a car[too worldly] but will ride in one/my neighbor used to carpool them to work at the factory

I,too was led to the salvation of all through the use of the internet.  we are all so scattered out all over the earth...I found no-

one in my area to go to for guidance. after being called out of the church....it was very isolating. So,I set my mind..since I found

myself all alone[I once considered putting add in newspaper..'seeking..living breathing body of Christ"] to worship Him on my own...

read all His red letter direct words and obeyed them.....and the holy spirit was with me strong...and led me to the salvation of all.

Likewise, here.  The internet has been the best tool ever.  Thank you God. The biggest hurdle is making sure that the spirits are tested, as there is so much untruth out there.
For me, when I was allowed to see the truth about Hell (via this site), the peace was indescribable.  Realizing my unbelieving daughter was not going be tortured for eternity, yes, that gave me peace!  Thank you God!

Yes, I do, "behold I have opened a door unto you which none can close" -- tho later, I do beleive the door will be closed.. so we should "work while it is day, for the night comes when none can work"

That's what's so great about knowing the truth of universal reconciliation. When I was a Catholic kid they told me my mom was going to hell for being a Methodist. Years later, when I tried being a Protestant for a while, they told me my whole family was going to hell because my dad had convinced my mom to convert by then. Now I know they're all full of baloney, and nobody's going to "hell" because God is the savior of all mankind. I guess it's good we had to go through that religious nonsense to help us really appreciate the truth. Thank God for an accurate translation of scripture and for being the loving Father he is.

Absolutely, the Internet can be used for good.

Many of my friends use their fb page as a ministry, and I did the same.

I leave my fb open to the public, and it is amazing what can happen. I am very aware of what is put on there and am always looking for that which will edify God.

One example, of what can happen, was the day a woman from Australia contacted me. Her best friend's brother had just committed suicide and she saw my page and asked to be a friend, because she was comforted by what she saw. That was about 2 years ago, and even though I may never meet her in this life, we have developed a strong bond. She has been a source of encouragement, for many on fb, both her own and mine. She works with refuges in her country, and is a wife and mother of two small children.

I have over 600 friends, many from different states, countries, walks of life, nationalities. I have Hindus, Moslems, Atheists, Agnostics, Christians of every and no demonination, Jews, Buddists, and on and on. I have many, many Pastors and Church Workers, from all different denominations, as well. And many, many Christian Ministers there, too, including about 50 Christian singers. There are 10 year olds to over 80 year olds on my page, as well. There are multi-millionaires and those who are on public assistance. And, every political bend possible is also represented there. Most I have known personally, but some not.

They are all gifts from God to me, and I cherish every one of them.  :HeartThrob:

I don't use Facebook because I read about how the guy who started it ripped off the guys he was supposed to be developing it for and he's said he thinks his users are all a bunch of fools for giving him all their personal information which he's gotten rich off of, but I know a lot folks who use it. I'm on Google+ though. I used to do some debating on there with atheists and hellfire folks, but I got bored because it just got to be a shouting match overwhelmed with emotions instead of an intellectually stimulating exchange of information. I was disappointed to see most fellow believers as hateful as the atheists, but I guess it's to be expected because of their programming. I think the Internet, and the World Wide Web in particular, are really good ways to propagate the truth though, and I don't think that's an accident. They don't have an online hook up everywhere in the world, but it's getting to more places as time goes by even though some places censor it. With global communication and an accurate translation of scripture, everybody can be an evangelist with the truth of scripture that includes the reconciliation of all on the earth and in the heavens to God through Christ's blood on the cross. I think it would be even better if a satellite connection was available to all, but right now that's not economically possible for most folks. And now I hear the Chinese are gearing up for space warfare to shoot our satellites out of space. I think it's a shame that our US government doesn't seem to be on the cutting edge of cyberwarfare. I think it's crazy to read about the Russians and Chinese penetrating even our government infrastructure. Who needs nuclear weapons if you can control the grid and computers not to mention steal the technology and finances of a nation? I hope our govenrment gets its act together soon.

:sigh: Yeah, unfortunately. We do help the poor and needy *some*, but I think a lot of it goes to "grease the wheels" rather to the people who need it, of both our officials and the other countries we send millions to.

Yea, I was thinking also of the churches in America, who spend all the offerings building buildings and sustainng organizations that exist to sutain themselves, and do very little to help thse in their own neighborhoods.

:cloud9: Same song, different singers.  They got it backwards. The oil flowed from the HP's head DOWN to the feet, not from the feet up. And when they get more than what they need, they build a bigger building, add a parking lot, ect.  :sigh:
