This book teaches conditional immortality.Sanctuary Downtown Pastor Peter Hiett read this book and became an conditionalist 20 years later.After much study of the bible and refusing to explain away verses that support universalism.I think that this book would lead people to universalism even though it teachers conditional immortality.Search "How one biblical annhilationalist became a  biblical universalist."

yes...conditional immortality does not explain several crucial Bible verses..but it's a start in the right direction.
