I need a break. I've learned a lot here and benefited from all I've read and all the support I've gotten. But I need to get away from it all, and spend a lot of quality alone time worth my Lord for a while. I have a feeling at least someone out there is saying "amen!" :laughing7:

I remember doing that in the summer of '07 'cause we'd had a goofy setting back then that you had to have about 25 posts to be able to send a PM, even if you were only replying to it. And something went horribly wrong with my account to where it crashed right before the boards had, so I signed up again only to have Mercy Aiken ask if I'd gotten mad and had deleted my account. So, I had to do what you just did in Welcome Central or somewhere in order to be able to say "no, I didn't do anything on purpose" and within a day or two the boards completely crashed and then completely crashed again a day or two after that, and then we came into the boards we have right now. We lost soooo much gooood stuff with that final crash of '07 in late July of '07 after I'd just posted a prayer request that the answer to which has governed my time since then.
Just be glad we don't have that 25 post minimum any more to be able to send a PM, or there would be a whole lot of that around here with people trying to either send a PM or to reply to one. :laughing7: Really dumb setting in my opinion unless it was meant to address some abuses happening back then. I haven't gotten with Mercy since then to find out what that was about, if we were having any spammers that were starting accounts and sending a butt load of PMs of total nonsense, trivia, and the obscene, or if it was in response to recurrent strife situations, or what the story was on why we had that setting back then. Usually any setting around here has a "why" behind it, even if I don't know the "why" 'cause that's been my experience with little changes that I've made here and there.
