Outside of the Bible this is the best book I have read.  I recommend checking it out.  Here is the author speaking...

Thanks Shawn. Why is it so hard for us, for me, to believe He loves us? I see a correlation to how I feel about myself and I project that upon God. If I can't love me, then certainly God doesn't. MayGod grant us, me, the simple faith to believe He does.

Amen Deena, faith like a child, right? What I just realized not that long ago is that when we don't believe that God loves us, it's not us that we don't have faith in - it's God's ability to love unconditionally that we don't have faith in. Nevertheless, He does love us unconditionally. What helps me is to always think on the verse "the Lord is willing that NONE should perish" (that includes me!) and also "why will you die oh house of Israel?? For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies, says the Lord Yahweh: therefore turn yourselves, and live!"

He really does want us. He really does love us.  :cloud9:
