Cardinal, I wanted to ask you about something you said on the Ghost Hunters thread, but it's  completely OT, so I hope you don't mind me starting a new topic to ask.

You mentioned a woman you worked with who was into ghost hunting and tarot and stuff and you said:

QuoteI just asked God to bind her to me with cords of love that cannot be broken, the way He showed me to pray. It works.

You may have talked about this previously, but I'm wondering if you could share more.  What did God teach you to pray and how/when you have been able to use this prayer?

It just piqued my interest and that's usually God's way of telling me, "look here!"

:cloud9: No, actually, I don't think I had talked about it previously. It just never came up before. The animal sacrifices were tied down with cords to the four corners of the altar to be consumed with fire. He tied it in for me with "tied down with cords of love that cannot be broken" one day, in the sense that no greater love than this has any man, that he lay down his life for his friend.

We do this ourselves, by laying the 4 parts of our soul down on the altar, ie. the mind, will, emotions, and desires. This is what Paul meant by making of ourselves a living sacrifice. This is our sacrifice, the sacrifice of our flesh nature, and the "rending" of the first veil in type,  that enables Him to "call us in from the 4 corners of the earth" to be "centered" in Christ.

This altar had a grate. In Rev. those that have been killed are calling out from BENEATH the altar, "How long, O Lord before our brethren are killed as we were?" Meaning they are those that became a living sacrifice, their "ashes" falling thru the grate. He gives us beauty (of Christ nature) for ashes. These are the firstfruits unto Christ, redeemed from every tribe, kindred and nation.

So if you understand that we are priests, and priests do the offerings, in the spiritual implication of the new covenant we have a priestly right to "tie down" the offering, that being the person prayed for, or with. Only we do it with cords of love that cannot be broken; the Lord's love. And He begins to draw them to the altar of His heart in us, preparing them to receive Him and then be consumed by Him, just as we were. There is no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, and this love is what draws. Because they don't know Him, they think it is us they are drawn to at first. But what it really is, is Him manifesting the love of God in us, and when we recognize that He can use us in this way.

You cannot take things away from people, be it belief in Tarot or whatever, without the anointing that "heals the tear" that perceived loss leaves in the "fabric" of their soul. People will instinctively let go of something if they perceive something better is available. The reason people are drawn to the counterfeits in the first place is because the mainstream church has not had the understanding or the push to appropriate the gifts of the Spirit. So what you really have with people who are into whatever form of new age stuff, is people that are searching for the reality of the Spirit. I LOVE to get a hold of that kind of person, personally. It means my "job" is half done. They're already searching; I just hold the flashlight and point in the right direction. :Sparkletooth:   Hope this answers your question. Blessings to you......

Cardinal,
Thank you.  Lots to think about.
I love the idea about us having the priestly authority to "tie down" the sacrifice.  I've come to realize over the last couple of years that the main way the enemy was keeping me in check was by blinding me to the power which has been granted to me in Christ and then inviting me to buy into the idea that such power wasn't meant for peons like me.  Thankfully, God has been bringing me out of those lies recently and it's so wonderful to me to realize that God has choosen to allow me to take on the authority and repsonsibilities of the priesthood for His service.

I agree about new-age type seekers.  I've learned that one of the main tricks of the enemy is to take something which is of God and twist it into something harmful and offer it back to us, supposedly without all the "strings" the world tells us God has unfairly attached to it.  Of course, since the thing came from God to begin with, it is enormously appealling to people.  While it's a clever trick, it's also the key to overcoming because what the enemy offers can never fulfill our needs the way what God offers does, so really all he's doing is creating an even stronger thirst which only God can sake!

At any rate, thanks so much for your answer.  I'm going to have to ask God for some love bindings with a few people I know

:cloud9: We have the priestly authority to do WHATEVER the Lord did. He's the pattern, and Heb. 10 tells us the tabernacle is the pattern of spiritual things. It reveals Him. I talked about what I went thru initially when I came to the Lord on this same subject. And the churches, for the most part, feed into the lie also, because they themselves are blinded to the reality of who Christ is in them. We are talking about knowing who you are in Christ, AND knowing who Christ is in you. Both have to be revealed spiritually, and both are progressive unfoldings.

God did not bring us out of the "church" so we can condemn her; He brought us out so He could bring us to maturity IN HIM, and HIM IN US, and then at HIS appointed time, send us back in to set the others free. God always deals with a firstfruits harvest and blesses it. If you made it out, let me just say, "Hello, firstfruits, you are blessed!" Or let me say it the way the Spirit did; "Blessed art thou among women and blessed art the fruit of thy womb."

Won't all the men be shocked to find out they've got "wombs", LOL? Shhhsh.....let's don't tell them until they start to show, OK?  Oops.....too late....... :laughing7: Blessings to all......

I have been looking into that about the "colt" that was "tied"  whre "two ways meet."

Noticed also that it speaks of Judah having his colt "tied" or BOUND to the "choice VINE."

Methinks that'd be HIM!~  I think it is in there somewhere where it says, "bind the sacrifice

with cords of love."  It was the very colt that "had been" tied in a place where two ways

meet that Jesus decided to ride into Jerusalem.  He was not too admiring of hypocrits

when He said to them, "Thou hypocrit, doth not every man even LOOSE his ox or ass,

on the sabbath day!"  Yes, he LOOSES and sets FREE. His LOVE sets free!

:cloud9: RLV, that was EXCELLENT! Thank you for that! Glad you're back with us  :HeartThrob:
