Title: Please Pray for my Little Puppy
Post by: Tony N on December 09, 2008, 04:21:12 PM
My pup of 3 1/2 months was having a terrible time.

We just discovered she has liver shunt (also called Portosystemic Shunt). The liver is by-passed by blood vein(s) which would otherwise do the right thing with the blood.

She is not seeing out of her left eye and does some howling.

I have her on lactulose and low protein diet and she is doing better. It would be nice for her to see out of her left eye again. The eye is good but for some reason it might be electrical in the brain due to the poisons from the liver shunt.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I'm asking You to touch Tony through Your Holy Spirit and ease his burden of casting this care upon You so that he can more easily, more readily cast his cares upon You regarding this.  Father, what this puppy is going through isn't in line with Your will, according to Jeremiah 31:27-28, so conform this situation with Your plan for building and planting in Tony's life and in the life of this puppy as a joint-heir of Jeremiah 31:27-28.  Romans 8:21 says that the creation must enter into the liberties of the children of God, and I'm asking You, Father, that this puppy would experience that liberty on the basis that St. Paul based that liberty on with the Hosea 2:18 Covenant.

Lord Jesus, You're the Shepherd of this puppy, and this puppy shall not want.  Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your gentleness in Isaiah 40:11 towards animals.  Father, this puppy needs a healthy liver in order to be able to graze in the roomy pastures that You've prepared for her/him in Isaiah 30:23-26.  According to Psalm 145:16, You open Your Hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing, and it's not the will of this puppy to feel like crap from any kind of liver issue.  Father, contextually, Psalm 104 would be saying that these little animals are a part of Your glory that's supposed to endure forever.  Be glad in Your works where this little puppy is concerned and we will sing to You as long as we live.  Thank You, Father, that according to Psalm 22, spiritually speaking, the animals surrounded the Cross as well, and You've never been the disappointment of any living thing.

Father, in Jesus's Name, this illness isn't a part of this puppy lying down in safety, according to Hosea 2:18, and since this illness was borne away on the Cross, I'm fully expecting that by His stripes this puppy was healed.  In the Seed of Abraham, ALL of the families of the earth are blessed, so this puppy is blessed both as a part of Tony's family and because as a puppy this puppy would have originated with one of the families of the earth.  Father, according to Mark 4:30-32 the Kingdom of God is getting big enough right now to where these animals should find shade under it's branches.  I thank You, Father, that Christ Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem which showed that man and animal are translated into the Kingdom together.  Father, I thank You for keeping the Hosea 2:18 Beriyth that's in the Blood of Christ Jesus.  Amen.

Man my prayers go out for both you and your dog :HeartThrob:

I was just thinking about how much I love animals when I came across this.
