I just finished a study on the ancient calendar of the Torah, also why the ancient calendars were 360 days, why the months of those calendars were lunar, how to tell when the first new moon of the year is to then determine the correct time of the Torah festivals throughout the year, what the "new moon" of the Torah looked like, when the different crops become ready for harvest in correlation with the Torah festivals, what "aviv" barley means, why Yeshuah could not have died on a Friday, and when the seven trumpets of Revelation and the seven bowls of Revelation happen in correlation with the autumn festivals of the Torah. Check out the study here, http://www.wisdomofgod.co/2018/10/23/the-original-360-day-calendar-of-the-torah-new-moons-and-the-true-appointed-time-and-fulfillment-of-the-festivals-of-the-torah/

Me too.. I've studied some on this and love His calendar, so it sounds very interesting and informative! I can see the sliver of the new moon out our front door and porch, if it's a clear night that night, that is, which has only happened (almost?) once, btw, since I realized what a view of the calendar that is! I think it was the following night however, not the first sliver..

I know the Lord did not die on a Friday.. I look forward to reading about the fall holy days and the trumpets, hoping you're on to something.. It's my belief the fall holy days are (also) a pattern of His long 2nd advent, which to me pretty much proves u.r./c.u. though His many verses - straight out and implied u.r. - are proof enough. (Making DOA to be "the judgment" - the 10 days between Trumpets and DOA representing "the thousand years"..)
:Peace2: & God bless

That was SO good! Until toward the end, with the Fall Holy Days.. and thus with Revelation also.. Have you thought of this? (And it confirms U.R./C.U.) How Revelation gives a brief outline of two ages following this age.. When it says "the rest of the dead rise not until the thousand years are ended" - this I think (surely?) is represented by the 10 days between Trumpets and Day of Atonement.

It's not hard to think the next age to be what Jesus called "the Judgment" to coincide with that collective Holy Day of Day of Atonement and represented by those 5 days between it and Tabernacles.. which surely points us to Rev 21 when God will now Tabernacle with mankind upon /earth.. made new.. and this also coinciding with 1 Corinthians 15:28 - the 3rd in the list of 1 Corinthians 15:22-28.. This is important (to me, anyway, DOA as 'Day' of Judgment).

The thousand year rulership of the Messiah is in fact a thousand literal years. In fact, the weekly Sabbath foreshadows the last thousand years of this heaven and earth, which will thus measure to a total of 7,000 years, with the last thousand years being a millennial sabbath.

Amen. Do you think it's possible, the Fall Holy Days of Lev. 23 are a pattern of the Lord's long second advent??

It's my belief this pattern reveals Universal Reconciliation.

By revealing two ages which follow this one.
Trumpets being those of Revelation and the last which is His return. And "the rest of the dead come not back to life until the thousand years are ended". The thousand years represented by the 10 days between Trumpets and Day of Atonement.

As we know, Day of Atonement was an annual, collective day of repentance and reconciliation - I believe it is a type/shadow/prophecy of Judgment 'Day'. The 5 days between Day of Atonement and Tabernacles, representing 500 years. (The Judgment?)

"...24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all." 1 Corinthians 15

"..I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me(John) "Write, for these words are true and faithful."

By "Universal Reconciliation" do you mean that those who are evil will be rewarded with those who are righteous? No, I do not believe that,

Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?" (Genesis 18:25)

Not exactly.. we were all wicked at one time however, and "God hardens whom He will".. And I'll let it go at that.. The rest of your link was really good, you said it very well, not an easy thing to do, I've tried, and you did it much better!

I was a little unclear however.. what is the cause? there is no longer a 360 day annual cycle? I thought perhaps you mean from the flood, but that would predate the calendar.. A 360 day year would sure be less of a challenge!

In my studies I try not to hypothesize about what I don't know with certainty, because I am very careful to speak only the truth, based on what is actually written, and not inadvertently create a lie. How the slowing of the orbit happened remains a mystery, although there are indeed some theories. Some say the flood. Others say the miracle of the sundial recorded in Isaiah. I do not know. What I do know is God caused it, through whatever means he chose which are a mystery to us.
