I've been meandering about the internet and finding a few places that have stated that some of the older works on the history of Universalism (such as by Hanson) are now rather out of date and obsolete in light of more recent findings and discoveries.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any works outlining the history of Christian universalism exist aside from the general apologetic works.
The best of the best I have found and use as a bible sort of speaking. is Christ Triumphant by Thomas Allin , first printed in Dec. of 1890

I have said many times on this forum I really never heard of Universal Reconciliation, I am not in line with any "ists" except for the Chr"ists!" God has always sought that which will bring forth the Father and Truth. Where He began this beginning God, The Father, The Creator had the forever unction and thought to bring all of what He had spoke into something, and that something was to Glorify everything that He made, and it is all to His Glory and ALL of His works to Praise the Name of Jesus the Christ, Father, and God! O yeah He is Good!
I'm not sure what you mean by "never heard of UR", since your other post lists a long list of names who I presume are universal reconciliasts. How can you come across these mens teachings if you don't know or consider UR?
But if you are trying to say, that you don't want to be labeled, then I understand that, because labels are usually lumped together with other teachings, that we often don't agree with.
Dont mean I new what UR was or who was UR.
