Title: Just me with thanks
Post by: micah7:9 on August 02, 2013, 02:30:01 AM
Since I have gotten fairly aware of how to use a computer and that awareness is now probably 3rd or fourth grade, even though some 3rd graders could run rings around me, The Tentmaker site in my opinion(learned that lesson on this site) is the most thoughtful, eager, and reasoning flock of believers by far.
Doors are open to examine our own thoughts, our weaknesses and our strengths. I want to thank everyone, I have had my butt spanked by moderators and at times by the family, causing me to look closer and longer into the "glass darkly."
So I post this only to pour out that which has been given me by all on this site. By the Grace of the Lord I will not stop searching and unless He has settled me in a truth, I will, with no hurtful intent question what has not been righted in me, how He has given me to understand and accept, and as Bro. Paul gave insight to Bro. Timothy....
2Ti 3:16  Every Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for convincing, for correction of error, and for instruction in right doing;
2Ti 3:17 so that the man of God may himself be complete and may be perfectly equipped for every good work.
And Bro. Peter...
19 And we are having the prophetic word more confirmed, which you, doing ideally, are heeding (as to a lamp appearing in a dingy place, till the day should be breaking and the morning star should be rising) in your hearts,
20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture at all is becoming its own explanation.
21 For not by the will of man was prophecy carried on at any time, but, being carried on by holy spirit, holy men of God speak.

I thank you all, the new believers as well as the elders on the site. I pray what I offered is received well. :HeartThrob: Love IS Jesus. :dsunny:

We are all brothers/sisters because of Christ. We can disagree but that does not change our value or position. As you seem to suggest these disagreements can actually stimulate us to seek a better understanding, which then can indeed remove a lot of the rubbish.

2 Cor 4;7 " But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves."
