I was wondering have you guys heard of a woman named Johanna Michaelsen (she used to be Hal Lindsey's sister in law) and her story about how she became a Christian where she claimed to have worked with a "real" psychic surgeon before strange circumstances made her change her mind, do you think the story is realiable? Michaelsen's story really bothers me and i need some help! :sigh: i found a copy of Johanna Michaelsen's book http://www.knowingthebible.net/files/documents/cults/Beautiful-Side-of-Evil.pdf if you want to see what's she writing

Only Father can know if Joanna is real or not. What do you think deep down?

I know very little about her story but know enough to know I know nothing (That is Fathers Job) As for the out of body dreams, though I have never seen one I have certainly felt a presence while others "saw" Could Joanna be possessed or have been, most certainly; we do not hear much about such thing these days but it is not as uncommon as one may think.

I have no real reason to doubt anything that she has said. Is she as pure as white snow? Is anyone?

So, seeing that there will always be so many more questions than answers, I would say to do what it is your heart tells you to do. This is WAY deeper than feelings, because feelings can be bought and sold like candy, BUT your heart DEEP down is whom Father made you. This is who you really are.

I think you will find Love if you mediate on this.

"real" psychic surgeons have been exposed often and regularly. An illusionist that goes by the name of "The Amazing Randi" shows step by step how you too can perform the trick. It's really very simple. And it is a trick.
My wife has been an operating room nurse for many years and even if these "surgeons" did enter the body like they seem to do, infection alone would kill them off. There are also NO proven cases where someone had a growth or tumor and it was actually removed. These "surgeries" are never performed where an unbiased scientist can get a good look at the fake thumb that contains the blood and flesh matter that is "removed"

It is impressive when done by a good illusionist though - like most good illusionists.
There's probably a ton of stuff on the web showing the duplicity or fakery involved.

Wigglytuff, there are a whole lot of things I have studied into far enough to conclude that I did not want to look any further.  This may fall under that heading.  Be careful where you wander in this dream called "life."
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

i know that but this one story just bothers me its just that the stories of this woman tells are so absurd and as well there are parapsychologists whom claim that they saw the woman michaelsen worked with perform those surgeries, though idont put much reliabliity in parapsychologists it just bothers me so much and i want to see this woman utterly refuted
