I've always loved the best know quote from the Declaration of Independence.
"We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
Liberty is a cool word and the basis of patriotism. All politics aside, the ideas of the founding fathers are awesome. Enjoy the festivities folks!

Happy Independence Day to everyone. However, we must keep on praying for our country because we are becoming a more secular society. This week, I read in the news that a court official ordered the Ten Commandments Statue to be removed from the public square in Oklahoma. Sadly after the recent Supreme Court ruling on homosexual marriage, extremist atheists and homosexual advocates feel more empowered to silence people of faith who stand for traditional values.
I believe in Jesus peace , He is our protection and safety and His Kingdom is not of this world .
I do see the judgment in the world by divisions , as Jesus said and so it is , if satan is divided against satan meaning adversary , slanderer ,accuser
that how can his kingdom stand ? the world is in its throws right now , so busy , too busy .. and as HOW we judge so shall we be judged accordingly

Those two meanings show me the divisions in Christ /anointing are very real reality ... that is cutting and burning of SPIRIT &TRUTH TO THE CORE . to dividing of souls from spirits in many and as well meaning as they may be , having an opinion or ''judgment '' can lead to a world of hurt
Worshipping the FATHER IN SPIRIT &TRUTH is everyone's quest really , a journey towards a goal ,to know exactly what that means ..
making it a personal conviction ... so many are growing in truth and grace as we see the world crumble and burn around us , tearing down the works of mens hands before our eyes .
God will build His House even in troublesome times ,, not by strength or might but By His Own Spirit
I am thankful for every good and perfect thing God has made right with Himself already and desire to see His completed GLORY !!

:sigh: I just wish "the Republic for which it [the flag] stands" still existed, as it did in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, but don't get me started... :sigh:
