places of former activity

     There have been times when I look back on my personal former
activity as little as just 6 or 7 years ago and ponder why I ever visited
any other UR sights when all that is given me to say is coming from within; can be said here on tentmaker.
     There are some UR sites that preach another false belief
that we will go down in silence through the ages if we disagree with
their doctrines.
     personally I refuse to flit around from tree to tree while all the time
the truth is within us.

I remember your posts on this forum and perhaps on bibletruths.com. I liked you avatar back then. Describes your pseudo name well.
And I agree with your assessment of other forums. I stay with this one all the time. It has valuable posts by members.

I too appreciate tentmaker forum.. it's much mellower.. gentle and friendly.. And some UR groups.. I swear some folks sound like they're on drugs! Way too much gobbledygook.. (Which cannot gather, but scatters.) They threw out the baby with the bathwater.. Just because E.T. found its way into the translations.. throw the whole book out! Then what do we have? the thoughts of ppl! Puhlease.. we can go anywhere for thAt.. God's Word(s) way too often minimized in favor of man's lofty thoughts about God's Words. Oh Lord, spare us from man's great wisdom!

Have done that looking around- necessary to appreciate the truth;
Interesting that Paul mentions how he doesn't try to convince others with words- and would rather have 5 useful ones than a lot of gabble.

The concept of love literally conquering all increases the patience and changes the focus to the coming being able to out-perform the present.
