QuoteOn the contrary, it asserts that the disciples had not learned the true Gospel, which Jesus taught only to Judas Iscariot.
QuoteAccording to a 2006 translation of the manuscript of the text, it is apparently a Gnostic account of an arrangement between Jesus and Judas, who in this telling are Gnostic enlightened beings, with Jesus asking Judas to turn him in to the Romans to help Jesus finish his appointed task from God.

I think it's a gnostic work written several centuries AD, as far as I know there exist countless apocryphal works, even the Koran is influenced by apocryphal works as far as I know or could be called an apocryphal work itself. I wouldn't mind about that writings.

has it any signifance on the subject of universalism?

ps: it appears to teach annihilation, in the last section

Yeah, if the teachings where so top secret that only Judas was allowed to know it how could they been written down.

He had a sleep talking problem. He tended to speak of "secret" things. xD
