 :sigh:

i understand why some cannot forgive ..not enough to accept UR.  God is the one that opens their hearts, minds, eyes, and ears.  He is the one that determines the time.

It just seems to me, so very sensible, that Jesus died for ALL the world, that means the salvation of ALL the world.  Where does 'all' become 'a certain number of people'?

So many believers out there, who insist on keeping refusal of forgiveness as part of their christian belief, almost a weaponry to exercise against those that have done them wrong, or are different than they themselves are.

How can a person lay down their life, truly, and not forgive?

"I'm sorry my dear, I truly believe in my heart that you are one of God's chosen, but because you believe "ALL" mankind will be saved, you are not living a biblical standard".

So, based on the laws of God, in the Torah, in the Psalms, and out of the mouth of Jesus, over and over ..love your enemies...you will be forgiven as you forgive....

yet somehow...Jesus died for only a few?

makes me sad....its like that squirrel...or bird...or deer..or wolf..that are just there ready to take food from your hand...but are too bound in their flesh to trust.

I guess one should only trust God to love 'only a few'.  and that God's love is only trustworthy to an extent?

moan and groan ............

Father, it aches to know those unforgiving hearts, but i think moreso at the times when it is the ones that profess to know you, your love, and your truth, yet insist on complete destruction for human error.  I praise you for your merciful love, which holds us accountable, chastises, and restores us.  Thank you for your merciful love and judgments.

Fragment, I wrote a poem recently, will try and see if I can retrieve it and post it on here,
but you made me think of it.  The fact is that some people have not had the same things
to "forgive" as some have, neither have they "needed" the forgiveness that some need.

I was thinking of how it was LOVE that pierced the veil.  When Jesus died at Calvary, so much
happened that we have yet to learn. He was right there, nailing the UNFORGIVING law of sin
and death to the cross, and establishing the NEW Covenant and passing thru the veil, to where
He was given a Name above all other names........to which other names would have to bow.
And that took LOVE!

It was LOVE that made HIM do it.  He so LOVED the whole world, that He was "given" ......
"given" to press thru that veil.........into the darkness of so many minds........and brought
the GIFT of HIMSELF.

It is not what people "believe" ...........it is what they have "experienced" that "makes"
them believe.

What man "believes" does not change the "word that is ESTABLISHED in the heavens."

God has written His Word in the Heavens, and honors His Word, above His Name.

Goodday.

what an excellent point.

the experience

cause and effect

well...that helped a lot...because i have every confidence that God will provide the necessary experiences to create that love...

its not what they are missing...its what they have yet to experience..
