QuoteIn the very early days of the faith, it was quite dangerous for a person to announce that they are Christians to just anyone. When a man would meet another one in the road, he would draw a half arc in the dust with the end of his walking staff. If the other man was also a Christian, he would know what that meant and draw the other arc, making the shape of a fish. This way they would know they were in friendly company. So, it was kind of like a secret handshake.

1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

Cousin states?
The USA is practically a province of my little speck on the planet. So many Dutch names.  :mshock:
That's actually where the nickname Yankees come from.
Many where religious refugees.

About the footy Taffy. Don't worry if you can't spell cup.
No need for that unless you read foreign newspapers.  :first:

Sounds fishy to me, or ixthousy to me.

Just because God says He will save all mankind
does not necessarily mean He won't.
