Okay I had a crazy dream the other night and I was wondering if anyone might know whether or not it actually means something...
I was in a large church building surrounded by people and we were watching a video of what was supposed to be a movement of the Holy Spirit. On the video there was a boy of about 5-7 years who was delivering a message. He was a very beautiful child with blonde hair. I don't remember what he was saying but there was loud dance music playing in the background, like something you'd hear at a club. Anyhow, as he was talking his eyes became all wide and black and distorted and it scared the dickens out of me and then I woke up. (It still creeps me out to think about it...)
So what do you think?
If I had that dream I wouldn't take it serious. Black eyes is standard stuff in many movies (I saw).
(My) dreams are often a composition of things experienced in daily life.
Yeah that's the thing, how do you know if a dream actually means something or not? I dunno.
Hi Lomorrah
Black is a symbol of adverse judgement. White stone= judgement in your favour. Also all 12 tribes were engraved on two onyx stones and carried
on High Preist's shoulders. That you saw this perceived judgement as adverse and distorted..in the church and as presented as the Holy spirit in the
church and were filled with fear and creeped out about it,is understandable
other symbols and meanings
the church was a building of man's hand's. It was supposed to be Holy spirit leading..instead..a child[Isaiih 3;12 youths oppress my people, women
rule over them]..also...the club[exclusivity]feel that was involved

Church is outwardly beautiful and rich, but inside is in darkness and poverty.
:2c:
I think it was more of a warning....what appears to be "good" and even innocent with a lot of hype behind it,is actually something more insidious, gaurd yourself and question what is going on ,not to be mean or even upset those around you but to be wary
blessings :icon_king:

so tru. little children, babes, divisive, sorcerers, preachers of a twisted self indulgent gospel, eyes that suck in instead of shiing out (eye is light of the soul)
Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water? Can a fig tree, my brethren, produce olives, or a vine produce figs? Nor can salt water produce fresh. Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
(Jas 3:11-18)
Wow thanks everyone. I didn't know that black represented adverse judgment, I was thinking it might have represented their darkened understanding.
Very eye opening!
Hi Lomorrah
darkened understanding and adverse judgement are very closely related....as you judgeso shall ye be judged. If the light that is in you,be darkness,
how great is that darkness!
Sometimes - not always - I've found that very vivid dreams have shown me what I'm really thinking or feeling about something in my life. I often don't realise I'm feeling it until I've had the dream and write it down, and it's in the writing that the understanding comes. Maybe there's something happening in your life or church that looks wonderful but you're actually very concerned about it?
I noticed the dance music in the church. Perhaps the kid was so freaked out by the church playing some decent music for youngsters for a change :laughing7:
LOL TT you :icon_jokercolor:
Sheila - yes I guess they would be closely related.
Miriam - that's so true...I have been thinking a lot on the "church" lately...
