The Bible advises wine for medical uses: 1Tim 5:23 Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses.

Some say wine wrong translation and it's just alcohol free grape juice. But then Jesus can't be a drunk.

Luke 7:34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.'

Of course, some will say Jesus didn't confirm He drank alcohol. He just repeated what others blamed Him for.

Yeah, it's funny how Baptists try to get around the obvious fact alcohol is OK in the Bible.  I mean, really, do you think people in the Bible drank grape juice? However, drunkenness is forbidden, and dying in the state gives the corrective lake of fire  (verse about the watchman and stripes "Watch ye not know when").

Jesus might have drank alcohol, but was not a drunkard, cause he never sinned.

Jesus was called a drunkard and a sinner because He enjoyed fermented wine. But He was certainly no drunkard . I loved the story of the wedding tho, because surely, when they had run out of wine, a number of the guests had a pretty good buzz on :o) jesus made a LOT of wine, at His mother's request, to keep the party going. The master of the feast(caterer, basically) said, "Most people wait till everyone is rosy to bring out the bad stuff, you waited until everyone was rosy and brought out the GOOD STUFF. The best is yet to come brothers and sisters :o)

Drinking is not the Sin--getting drunk is the Sin

even in the qualifications of the Preacher--it says to consume not much wine(meaning that they could drink  but not carry it to being drunk)

nothing wrong with drinking alcoholic beverages(unless they got a lot of that unclean junk in them)

When it was said if you become as the Drunkards---didn't say if you drink alcoholic drinks--but if you get drunk

many think that if you take one sip--then you have become the worst drunk in the town---lol   :LH: :LH:

and some folks can not handle drinking because they take it too far-- true

but it is not a Sin to drink as long as we don't carry it to becoming drunk   :dsunny: :dsunny:

If you haven't sampled His wine 3x you will not get His "Kingdom wine" because you will not be part of it.
