I did not say or mean to say that he received his glorified body at that time.  I said he shows it to us, at that time.  Presumably, he could have shown it to us at any time.  But, he picks that time, at tabernacles, amongst his closest disciples.  It was always available to him.

Sorry, I misunderstood.  No he was not always in his glorified body.  But he always had access to all the power of the Godhead, whether he used it or not--his choice.

I don't think so, I hate to repeat myself, but IMO He overcame as a man and that is the glory of His cross. :o)

Ordinary man?  Not at all, but He did tell His disciples, ordinary men, that they would so just as much, and more so.

I agree entirely. I didnt say Jesus was "ordinary". On the contrary, He was/is the express image of God, the radiance of the Fathers nature. But He was limited by His humanity, and died as a man(God can't die/never has died).

That's why I like the translation of John 1

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

monogenous   easy enough to read, 'mono' -unique, only, singular.... 'genous'  -offspring, son, progeny

Jesus is the firstborn of many bretrhen, the seed of us all, the only seed, there was none before, there will be none after like Him as the firstborn, but there will be many like Him as sons, converted, redefined, remade, transformed, renewed in His image through the implantation of the seed(receive the word implanted....begotten again by an incoruptible seed unto a fervent love of the brethren)

When I'm alone and no one is listening.  I sometimes read John 1:14, and because the Greek word is skenoo (related to tent), I say it out loud '... and the word was made flesh and tabernacled among us'.  Maybe it's a way of keeping the word in a Hebrew context, maybe it's senility.
