WELL...HE MAY HAVE HAD A PH[ar-i-see] D-gree...BUT i ALWAYS TREAT THOSE LIKE JESUS SAID.........

DO WHAT THEY SAY BUT NOT WHAT  :eekTHEY DO.

At the risk of putting my foot  :footmouth: in it again:

We subscribe to Universal Reconciliation, and part of that (to me) is the realization that people we may not like in the here-and-now will share the Kingdom with us - forever!

Now  :punish:

Later  :friendstu:

Do you get the picture?
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

We won't any of us be what we are now.  Our carnal flesh will be gone, and all the desires and actions thereof.

Paul had a few things to say about mutual relationships, including, "If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.."

Paul and Barnabas separated - for awhile.

Eventually, we will all be reconciled as one.  In the meantime, all of us have rough hedges that are being honed, and there may be family members that it just doesn't work well to sit down and have a meal with right now - until reconciliation is complete - either here, or there.   :2c:

..as much as is possible..

Blessings.

Thanks, VB, you just alienated a valuable new member.  :punish:

I'm so sorry Laz, that was not my intention.  I tried to be as diplomatic as I could.  I re-read the post and I think he over reacted, but you're right, it was my fault.  I should have shown more forebearance.  It is only fair then that I ask the moderators to delete my account as well.

See you.

I beg your forgiveness.

VB, you don't need to leave.  You haven't done anything requiring that.  We're all learning here.

You didn't make the decision.  The only decision you made was to comment.  Then he made his decision to show himself, and I personally am the one that decided to accomodate his request.

We're getting close to needing to go to PM with this due to possible moderation issues involved.  Please anyone, with any questions about this, please PM myself and the other mods.  However, IMO, the necessary evidence is self-evident in the response to VB's post.

Forgiveness?  Sure, no problem!  I just said what I did because things had seemed a bit tense on the forum lately, and I wanted to muffle things a bit.  Don't go away, please, we have too few members.  Too bad he's gone, but he did over-react, and maybe I assumed he would settle into our friendly, loving atmosphere...ah well.

YES,i DO...AND ...I THINK WE HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL HOW WE TREAT PEOPLE. FOR GOD JUDGES BETWEEN A SHEEP

AND A SHEEP. ARROGANCE,PRIDE,FAULTFINDING,NITPICKING. THESE ATTITUDES MAKE US MISS OUT.ALL OF US.

BUT YOU HAVE TO PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH...

WOE TO THE WORLD BECAUSE OF THE THINGS THAT CAUSE MEN TO SIN.STUMBLING MUST COME,BUT WOE TO THE MAN

  THROUGH WHOM THEY COME.

IT IS NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT CAUSES MEN TO SIN AND STUMBLE

In that day the LORD will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea. In that day, "A vineyard of wine, sing of it! "I, the LORD, am its keeper; I water it every moment. So that no one will damage it, I guard it night and day.

Yes Sheila I remember reading that hahaha I absolutely LOVE His way of putting things and His sense of humour!! Speaking of which, I've been wanting to start a thread on the Lord's humour lately, I LOVE hearing the stuff He pulls on people. If anyone's got anything good please start a thread with it so we can all have a good laugh!

Okay.  Laz  I have checked and it says right in the book of Hezakiah that you shall not smack Vine upside the head.

Lazarus Short

Hezakiah [sic] said that?  You had me going for a moment, and then I remembered that Hezekiah did not write any book (that we know of).

My cow - this is the third thread in a row where you were the last poster, and said something like, no, nevermind, sorry, my bad, etc.  Maybe you need to relax, stay off the www for a few days, read a good book...

That's actually from Hesakiah too Laz.  It states quite clearly My Cow is My Bad and You shall milk the joke.  I don't think it's in the Fenton Ferrar version though.

No, it's not, and how would you even say that in the King's English?  "Fenton Ferrar"?  I see you've been paying attention, well, sort of.
