Title: Crossing the Red Sea over an ice bridge - aka the ice skates of Moses :-)
Post by: WhiteWings on January 02, 2010, 02:21:36 AM
Did Moses really part the waters and walked over the bottom of the sea?

They sank into the bottom as a stone" (Exodus 15:5)
They sank as lead in the mighty waters
How can they sink if they are already on the bottom....?
Exodus 15:8 And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap (iceberg like?) , and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.

Meaning:  v 1) to thicken, condense, congeal, settle, become dense 1a) (Qal) to be condensed 1a1) thickening (participle) 1b) (Hiphil) to cause to curdle n m 2) congelation
