Giving Free Consultations on those topics is not a self-promoting business. Living is part of salvation. Discussing how to live properly is part of salvation.
I agree with you Lloyd. I don't think we made it clear we weren't charging or expecting compensation of any sort - just helping with knowledge we have which might save someone for having to pay someone else for the same information.
I don't think anyone should use Tentmaker to advertize their spiritual services regardless of whether they charge or not. This is not an appropriate platform for that, IMO.
So its OK to offer free help with real estate since I've written 3 books on real estate?

Whether or not you leave the forum, at this point, is up to you. I think it is inappropriate for you to offer your services on this forum. The forum is a discussion blog related to UR.
