Look at this:
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last (Donald) trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
This idea came to me a while ago, maybe that is the secret? If it is the case, it would show that God has a sense of humour, and would be very cool too.
well, idk, but I have heard it said..'he likes to blow his own horn" lol!!!!just kiddin...
all kidding aside.. the trumpets were blown for assembly, when Israel was on the move..and WAR. :2c:
also trumpet messages of angels in heaven. Many of the nameeanings are connected with the role. Yeshua/God saves.etc.
makes you wonder, doesn't it.? that thought had runthrough my mind, too.as well as Obama-nation

Ignore the references to rapture. What these people miss is that every other reference in meeting God is returning to where they left from, not leaving and not returning. It will be no different.
His main argument is that the last trump is the voice of God, and not a "physical" event.
The last trump IMO could be our personal final "last trump" aka our bodily death. I think everyone thinks they are in the end times including the apostles.
I think it is a bit more than applying to individuals. In both cases, when the horn was blown at Mount Sinai, and here, it speaks of a collection of people, not solely individuals. Even when Peter went to meet Jesus when walking on the water, Peter represented the overcomes meeting Him.
Plus some prophesies left over that still need total fulfillment. Matthew 24 is an easy one, days of Noah and the peace then sudden destruction, but also the destruction of Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 19
11And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Topheth, till there be no place to bury
Has Jerusalem been destroyed before? Yes. But, could it be rebuilt again? Yes. Here it speaks of it being destroyed, and not being rebuilt.
With all this peace talk with Jerusalem and Syria and others, if that does happen, we'll know what God's plan is.
I know a list that someone made related to that, about this prophecy and modern day events, so I'll post it here if people want it.
There is a lot more verses on this prophecy too. Not just Jeremiah
Yes, people could take all these verses and think of it as only applying to an individual, but see no reason why it cannot happen literally as well..
I was into thinking of these things a while back, but I think they cause confusion and division. I no longer worry about it all.
I'm not worried about these things myself. I think it is going to play out a lot different than a lot of the hellfire and rapture people expect. God is in control, what is there to worry about?
Get I should give this anyway:
"1) I have been personally observing this phenomenon for the past 3 years by carefully watching the news from Israel. Until recently this mostly involved the organization called "The Quartet", which is comprised of The United Nations, America, Russia, and The European Union. It's very easy to do. The thing you have to do is watch whenever someone who represents the American government (The President or any of his representatives) makes a serious push for the nation of Israel to give up more land to the "Palestinians" (Philistines), OR if they harshly criticize Israel for their God Given Land (Genesis 15:18). I mark the date on my calendar for when any meeting is scheduled for this "peace" process, and IF PROGRESS towards giving up land is made or attempted to be made, God responds. His response depends on the EFFORTS made by America, and also Europe.
2) I first learned of this phenomenon from the books called "The Israel Omen" and "The Israel Omen II", by David Brennan. I decided to test his theory out by observing, for myself, whether this phenomenon is true. For the past 3 years, I have observed 12 such events, on my own watch. Here is the list, and I hope you all don't mind a really long post replete with examples, but since people have rightly wanted more information on this topic...
a) The Quartet met on September 30th, 2015. The next day, Hurricane Joaquin strengthened from a Cat. 2 to a Cat. 4. Although it never made landfall in the U.S., another large storm system over the southeast drew tremendous moisture from the hurricane, resulting in catastrophic 1 in 1000 year flooding in South Carolina, and resulted in 19 deaths (Wikipedia).
b) Hurricane Patricia caused severe flooding in southern Texas on October 24-25 of 2015. The mideast "Quartet" met on October 23rd in Vienna "to coordinate messages, and to pass a STRONG MESSAGE to the parties to calm down the situation on the ground".
c) On Friday June 3rd 2016, the same day that an international conference of the French initiative to FORCE peace talks on Israel occurred in Paris, floodwaters in Paris reached peak levels in what was declared a natural disaster. The Louvre museum was closed as staff hurriedly moved artworks out of the flood path. Secretary of State John Kerry also attended this conference. And severe thunderstorms drenched southeast Texas leading to flash flooding, forcing Governor Greg Abbott to declare a state of disaster for 31 counties. 5 Fort Hood soldiers died as floodwaters overturned their army truck.
d) On August 31st 2016, the Obama administration issued a FIRM REBUKE to Israel for approving 463 housing units in Samaria, CONDEMNING the move and warning that Israel risked undermining "the prospects for a two-state solution". Two days later, Hurricane Hermine made landfall in Florida on September 2nd 2016, with total economic losses across the United States reaching US $550 million (Wikipedia).
e) On Friday September 23rd 2016, the Mideast "Quartet" blasted Israeli "settlements" and claimed they are an obstacle towards peace, emphasizing it's "strong opposition" to construction in Judea and Samaria. Meanwhile, deadly midwest flooding occurred in Wisconsin. "In my 33 years in Vernon County law enforcement, this is the worst I've ever seen," Sheriff John Spears told the AP while surveying flood damage in Victory. "This has been devastating." Minnesota and Iowa also experienced major flooding.
f) On Wednesday October 5th 2016, State Department spokesman Mark Toner issued a SHARP CONDEMNATION of Israel over their approval of construction of homes on state owned land in Shilo for Israelis who were evicted from the community of Amona. Mark Toner called it "another step towards cementing a one state reality of perpetual occupation". (As an aside, the Lord told Abram in Genesis 15:18 that his natural descendants would be given the land from the Nile to the Euphrates rivers). And what happened? Hurricane Matthew happened. In total, the storm killed 47 people in the US, including 26 in North Carolina, 12 in Florida, 3 in Georgia, 4 in South Carolina, and 2 in Virginia.[118][119][120][121] According to the National Centers for Environmental Information, damage from Matthew across the United States reached approximately $10 billion. This ranked it the costliest national disaster in the country for 2016 alongside record floods in Louisiana.[122] (Wikipedia).
g) On Friday October 14th 2016, The United States criticized Israeli policies in Judea and Samaria during a UN Security Council discussion. The meeting was entitled "Illegal Israeli Settlements: Obstacles to Peace and the Two-State Solution". The U.S. representative to the session, Deputy U.S. Ambassador to the UN David Pressman, said Washington is "deeply concerned and STRONGLY OPPOSES settlements which are corrosive to peace". The next day, October 15th 2016, a powerful storm system hit the Pacific Northwest, bringing down trees and power lines, leaving tens of thousands without power, after the remnants of a TYPHOON hit the area. Two rare tornados tore through Tillamook County, Oregon.
h) On May 4th 2017, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that he "looks forward to discussing with President Trump the best ways to advance peace. This is something we fervently share with the president", after Trump met with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who lyingly said that "the Palestinians teach their children peace". Donald Trump has made it clear he wants a peace deal done. On that same day, historic flooding begins in Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois, leading to 10 deaths over the next several days.
i) On June 21st 2017, Prime Minister Netanyahu met with President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt, and US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman to discuss the peace process with the Palestinian Authority. On June 22nd, Tropical Storm Cindy made landfall in Louisiana and Texas, leading to 2 deaths and the usual flooding outages and trees down. It also affected Alabama and Tennessee.
j) On July 13th 2017, the Mideast Quartet met with US special envoy Jason Greenblatt. That same day, storms pummelled the Midwest and Northeast with rain, triggering widespread flash flooding from Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, New York, and into Massachusetts.
And now, for the most dramatic examples of God's anger (just lately) towards this phony peace process:
k) On Thursday August 24th 2017, President Trump praised Prime Minister Netanyahu following a meeting between the Prime Minister and Trump's son-in-law and senior advisor, Jared Kushner. "Thank you Prime Minister and Jared," Trump wrote via Instagram. "Let's advance #Peace, #Prosperity, and #Security in the area." (As an aside, you might want to look at 1 Thessalonians 5:3, which states that when they shall say Peace Safety (or Security), then cometh sudden destruction, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they shall not escape). The very next day, Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas, with never before seen 4 feet of rainfall in some areas of Texas, and leaving Houston devastated.
l) On September 7th 2017, President Trump called a potential two-state solution "the world's most complex and difficult deal," but expressed hope for peace in the region and said that "we are working" on a solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict. On September 10th, Hurricane Irma made landfall in Florida, devastating the Florida Keys, and causing 50 deaths and 50 billion dollars in damages (Wikipedia)
In conclusion, this phenomenon has been well observed and documented since 1991, beginning with "The Perfect Storm". Some of the more notable examples include Hurricane Katrina in 2005, which formed after the last Jews were forcibly evacuated from The Gaza Strip, as well as Hurricane Andrew in 1992, and so many other examples too numerous to mention."
I have no problem believing or seeing that.. Not because it worries me, but because it interests me. I've studied bible prophecy for years.. prayed over a list of questions and am pretty convinced of my perceptions (answers I believe I received).
Thank you for posting that! Just yesterday I found myself wondering about these increasing hurricane levels especially upon our coastal states, here in the u.s. and floods going on, and fires out west.. . tsunami's in the Pacific.. Now of course all these have always occurred, but I'm pretty sure they are starting to resemble somewhat labor pains.. as increase in occurrence and level (of the labor pain.. and what is the woman told? breathe.. relax and breathe.. :laughing7: )
But of course I think it's perfectly fine not to be interested.. We're all different parts of the body.
I think to discuss it here, we should tie it in to UR.. which to me, brings me straight to the word, and Rev 7, where (in a long, to us, pause of nuclear thermo as war) 144,000 and a large crowd from every nation are referred to as "virgins" because their foreheads (thoughts? thinking? beliefs?) are sealed via the Holy Spirit of God.. these ones follow only the Lord, whithersoever He goes.. So in any critical or dangerous times.. well, I can't think things will come upon them "unaware" and "as a snare".. And the closest to being those virgins, to me, would be UR.
Same as with the letters to the 7 churches. Which church is the one church Jesus says will be kept safe in such days? The church of Philadelphia, which as we know the word "philadelphia" means "brotherly love" which is not just love for those exactly like one's self.. (Which seems to sometimes be implied by Et, the love for only those who are saved, and who believe rightly in their eyes. :dontknow: )
When I posted more in Et forums, I posted a lot more on bible prophecy and wrote up a lot of stuff on one of my blogs ..no one listens to me however  :laughing7: but that's okay.. just like with UR/CU.. it's usually just a matter of planting seeds and letting them lie and be watered by God. I mostly have focused on summaries.. always having the urge to make the shortest summary possible..
:Chinscratch: I think I actually succeeded in that a couple of times.. I'll have to see if I can find my shortest summaries.. I've tried to communicate it in outlines, paragraphs, poem, studies, and in pictures. Which pictures is my favorite! But who knows if anyone can see it.. tho it sure seems so clear as day to me.. bible prophecy, that is, and the images used to portray it to (ancient world) John, as the vision called Revelation.. (my blog on bible prophecy is https://bibleprophecy4today.blogspot.com/ (http://my%20blog%20on%20bible%20prophecy%20is%20https://bibleprophecy4today.blogspot.com/)) I include what i think of as very necessary keys needed to be able to read/understand the vision ("blessed is the one who hears and heeds"? Rev 1:3? & 22:?)
Just look at the world, the culture.. A "falling away" from the faith is/has occurred because (in the public arena) a "strong delusion" has taken hold due to the proliferation of a "false prophet"/teacher/teaching - which a "prophet" was a leader and a teacher, so thinking of a prominent late days false prophet, as a false teaching, is not so far out of range to think it might be a world wide, very strong and powerful "delusion" being "taught".. And the teaching (belief) does include (intrinsically) within it, prophecy. As in where shall it lead? or where..? Is it bound to lead....? I usually avoid the more sensational type things, like conspiracy theories, not that I don't believe there's plenty of conspiracies going on.. Just thought I'd mention that before mentioning how governments are working on perfecting the making of holograms. Now isn't that just what "we" need in the world..? If anybody (sorry) thinks there isn't an extremely strong and powerful p-u-s-h to get us toward apocalypse and armageddon (not actually the same thing of course).. Well, I envy that person.. I'm a very relaxed, restful and not worried person, but I cannot deny the approaching cliff. And all I can say about that is, history repeats itself. What was the highest cause of death in the 20th century? It wasn't war. War is not included in the tally. But the world is very determined to go in that very same so oft tried, same path. Very determined. I guarantee they're going to accomplish it.They will not give up. How do I know? It's a huge wave and tide hard to not see? And it's the bible prophecy unfolding in front of our eyes. The biggest problem, I think, is the things unfolding, and unfold-ed, are so HUGE, we don't see them.
Like the push to chip away at Israel.. why? because the powers and principalities, the 'god' of this world, really hates, deeply hates Israel.. after all she did birth Messiah.. and it is in Revelation and the prophets (Rev. 12:17 w/ Mt 23:39; 16:14-16). Starting w/ woman gives birth (Rev.12:1) and dragon (via Herod the Great) tries to devour, but He now sits at the right hand of God. The "manChild"/Son of man that is.
When I asked God our Father about bible prophecy, the first thing which came directly to my mind was "false prophet" and the question "what is the strongest influence upon mankind - today?" Emphasis on today, as opposed to yesteryear where so many bible prophecy buffs have been stuck. And, actually, the question came first :laughing7: But when the answer followed right after, like a light bulb.. I could see it was so huge.. So huge. I,e ...so true. And by it, man has seated himself in the seat of God.. (as highest power) "showing himself that he is 'god'.." (higher power who decides good & evil - that's the battle/dilemma going on.. who is going to be God?? God proving beyond a doubt. One way works, the other simply does not. Never can. It IS apocalypse. In the modern english understanding of the word - which IS the unveiling. Bible prophecy is the 'end' of the story, so to speak. Along with its inclusion of at least 2 following ages.. (imo)
Jude 14; Contemporary English Version (or Good News Version? :Chinscratch: :dontknow: ) says Jude 14 this way, "In last days people will make fun of God". If we are involved in forum discussion on social media, youtube, etc.. we can surely see a lot of that going on.. "scoffers".. the spirit of.. bible prophecy is today's trends.. I believe we have been praying for delay.. Let us keep praying for delay. I likely won't see much more of it, or the cresting of the wave, unfolding, what with being a senior citizen now (if I ask about senior discounts, I don't even get carded! :mshock: When did this come about? Lol. Snuck up on me unawares?!)
Something else to point out. Not only was the most recent hurricane called Michael, but Brett's middle name is Michael!
Relating to that is Michael in Rev. 12 I think.

This reminded me of something Shev wrote...

And just to show how it is easy to make conjectures and "coincidences" about famous people, I have randomly selected Jack Nicklaus the golfer to (hopefully humorously) demonstrate why he could easily be made out to be an "end times villain":
1 - Jack is derived from 'Jacob', meaning supplanter. Jack Nicklaus is going to supplant the truth with his diabolical web of deception, and supplant the kings of the earth with his throne.
2 - Nicklaus sounds similar to 'Nicolaitan'. This proves Jack Nicklaus holds to that doctrine.
3 - Jack Nicklaus is from Columbus, Ohio, which is named after the explorer who established a new world. This is a metaphor for the one world government Jack Nicklaus will establish.
4 - There are 12 letters in 'Jack Nicklaus' which shows he will exert power over the twelve tribes of Israel.
5 - Jack Nicklaus won 18 majors, which is 6 + 6 + 6. I just got chills.
6 - To 'nick' in English slang, is to steal, and also to arrest someone, showing the crafty and criminal nature of Jack Nicklaus.
7 - Jack Nicklaus always wore yellow on a championship Sunday. This was a reference to the gold head of the statue in Nebuchadnezzar's vision.
8 - He was born in Upper Arlington, Ohio, which shares the name with a famous cemetery, showing he is the bringer of death.
9 - His famous book was called 'Golf My Way' showing he walked in his own way, and not a spiritual path.
10 - He was famous for playing Golf, which shares a name with a car made by Volkswagen, who came to the fore in Nazi Germany.
Does anyone still doubt Jack Nicklaus is not all he seems?
I find confirmation bias a fascinating subject, as it is so hard to be free from. If we want something to be true, we have minds that can sift through the facts and choose those that suit our hypothesis, discarding those that are inconvenient. I find that this happens especially frequently in end time date setting - where all manner of mathematical feats are accomplished to prove that such and such is the date we should be focused upon - and also in "anti-Christ identification". Oh, and numerology also, where words and dates will be parsed, piecemealed and scotch taped back together to somehow add up to 13, or some other significant number.
The only reliable truth is in the person of Jesus Christ, and all that the Father has revealed through Him. The more things drift away from that focus, the more treacherous the ground becomes.
With true respect, I realise many people calling themselves Christians in this world are fascinated by all this stuff (and of course, that's their prerogative), and end-times/rapture type so-called prophecies appear to be an inseparable part of being a Christian for many people. But personally, I've never been drawn into these mind games, to me it has nothing to do with the Person of Jesus Christ as I have been shown. This type of stuff is one reason I never would have become a follower of Christ if it had not been for the Spirit who showed Him to me.
As someone else wrote once, there are plenty of orphans and widows to visit in substitution for this should the desire be there!
QuoteThis reminded me of something Shev wrote...

OK, so maybe the part you quoted is a bit of a coincidence. But then again, with God there is no coincidences, He never shakes the dice to decide what to do. In Scripture, all the names mean something. Even each and every one of us, there is no coincidences in what our names mean with how God is leading us. I found that out recently with my own name. What a surprise! I don't see it any different with history. Jesus told us specifically what signs to look for to indicate the end of the age. People may scoff at it, and do other things, but I think now those things are coming to light.
You may have missed this part:
QuoteI think it is going to play out a lot different than a lot of the hellfire and rapture people expect
And I'm not expecting some nuclear warfare, or Armageddon, or anything like that. To usher in the next age, it may have something to do with
healing and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Certainly, as I mentioned, it's everybody's prerogative to spend their time speculating on something which they believe is yet to happen.
Personally, I don't believe that we keep the same names as we grow in the Spirit. I believe that each name changes according to how we have changed. I believe that the name represents who and what we actually are – it describes what we have become and what we are becoming at that point - the name becomes more and more descriptive of the child of God as he or she draws more and more like the Christ Spirit. So, all of this literal interpretation means nothing to me personally, although I realise it means something to millions of people calling themselves Christians.
It's the world we live in at present.
All of us are shown an aspect of the Truth when walking in the Spirit. I don't think you should get too hasty in dismissing what someone else is shown by the Spirit. Just because it is not what you were shown, does not mean that what you received is all that there is.
I know there is a new name for us, but I was thinking we receive it when we are "perfect"
It doesn't matter what we believe.. And all bible prophecy discussion or conversation, does not = hyteria. If I seem hysterical, I'd have to say my posts have never been read at all by whoever would think that. It's perfectly fine to believe prophecy (only future, not passed) is metaphor and only spiritually applicable.. Makes no difference to me.
But the idea that people who study or talk about bible prophecy is only because they are either "fearful" or foolish, doesn't hold much water with me, after all it is in the bible, it's kind of like saying, well, we shouldn't talk about the virgin birth because the world finds that to be silly..
Ignore, ignore..
...It's all,
metaphor..
But, since we're talking this way, perhaps it's actually ignoring prophecy that shows fear, etc. To understand prophecy (imo) one has to be very aware of history. History is not all healing and the Holy Spirit.
Actually, how bible prophecy can be relegated to metaphor only - future prophecy, of course, not passed - and pigeonholed as what occurs in moi.. it's all about me after all.. is to me quite unbelievable.. of course if i'd never meditated upon that large swath of His word, like some believers, none here, I'm sure, I suppose it wouldn't be hard at all.
Clearly, people have a truth for themselves and I do not dismiss that – it is true for them; if it keeps people together instead of sinning, then it is good of course, that is not my point.
For instance, if people are still waiting for Christ to return and lift them up, then of course I'm not dismissing that; yet if He should do so in the way I know that He can, then I suspect earthly time will have no meaning for them too, and they would understand why there is no time for earthly speculation, I believe that speculation would become meaningless to them. That is my opinion of course.
I personally don't care for any speculation about God's Word. Just the Word itself.
P.S. - Back to discussing verses, you may perceive that not only do I not believe we are edging toward the "last trump" but believe the first hasn't even been sounded yet. I hope before I die, I can manage to pass on the clear vision of the vision of Revelation.. But mostly ppl just can't hear it.. :sigh: [Then when or if it happens in their lifetime, they'll say why didn't you tell me?! Pray for the Lord's grace for the believers of that day - seriously, ppl cannot see the huge trend toward world government by man? And the rising tide of hatred of christians/christianity and even conservativism?? Just like foretold.. You're kidding me right? And no I'm not talking hysteria. Read/reread my previous post if that's the thought.
:faint: :Peace2: :girlheart:
If one reads Rev ch 8, it's possible they may perceive what is the sign of latter days events (finally) escalating in more earnest..
This, I suppose, is my motive, when speaking about bible prophecy, it's part of a blog called , Revelation in Poem - Eight Revelation Riddles in the Middle of the Night
Tell This To Your Grand Children:
(If you're my age, that is :gsmile: )
The first one faded, then came back anew,
it'll give its prime seat, to beast number two,
it's head back in place, a seven year treaty will do,
and will take away Israel's wailing wall place too?
(Or?)
then days one thousand, two hundred and ninety later,
will come to find you
revelation 13:1-10 & 11-18
daniel 12:11,12

The thing is.. to me, anyway.. If Revelation has a literal application, then so too, does the two ages following this one, which are in that part of the book/bible. If Revelation is only metaphor, I would find it far easier to believe Et.
:Chinscratch: Maybe that's the problem.. we can't see the big picture, the total story - what God is doing.. how He brought us and things to be right here as they are, and how those things will proceed, fruit, conclude... And what it is He is doing and He is designing/perfecting, then the only thing we have to refute Et.. is metaphor.. "it's a mystery.." As in we know UR is true, we know some of the verses when we remember to read them the original way, or have been for long enough, but we're still sort of walking in the dark concerning it. ..Knowing it's true.. but it's a mystery. I'm very sorry, but it quit being a mystery to me long ago.. and yes, I once in a while get very frustrated that so few can even understand what the heck it is I'm ever talking about.. :dontknow: I don't get it.. But hey.. a fruit of the spirit is patience.. Just imagine, one day all on the same page/understanding, in all things.. And not misunderstanding one another..
:Peace2:
OK, so here is another prophesy finally being fulfilled, regarding the Dead Sea and the curse on it from before.
Ezekiel 47
9And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh
10 Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds—like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.
They finally started seeing fish in that area. Before they would have died due to how bad the conditions were for sea creatures there.
This is also how it was right before Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed:
And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before Hashem destroyed Sdom and Gomorrah, like the garden of Hashem. (Genesis 13:10)
:cloud9: I have a friend who told me God told him that He was going to use Trump as a trumpet, BEFORE he was elected. I really thought Hillary would get it, as they were pushing for a first woman President so hard (thank God she didn't). I've read he was saved after getting into office, or shortly before and this is why he is so pro Christian, having bible studies every week in the White House, ect. I don't think there is any question God is using him to restore what the cankorworm has eaten of our country. Personally, I feel he is being used as our last chance as a nation to repent of our sins to stave off or lesson judgment coming upon us. He cannot wink at our collective wickedness forever or He would have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. Blessings... :friendstu:
Actually, I read recently that about 10-15 years ago, some were prophesying that there would be a president who becomes very faithful and prayerful over being a president. Seems like Trump is that person :friendstu:
:cloud9: The now deceased Australian prophet, Kim Clement, also prophesied around 2007 that God was going to put in a man that had no fear, as President. I don't recall the whole prophecy, but it sure hits Trump well, I'd say. He'd have to be fearless to go though all the crap he has since taking office, and to stand up to the corrupt system he found himself put into. Blessings...
Cardinal, I found her prophecy:
"The Spirit of God says, I will move in a very unusual manner. For this Nation is being mocked. Third world countries are mocking you. Ungodly nations are mocking you. But God said, not the forces of hell, for they are hearing sounds of fire and resurrection that are emerging from the four corners of this Nation. Some would say, you are forgotten, but I have told you there will be an invasion of the news media. Instruments that once mocked Me will be instruments that now raise Me up, says the Lord.
And in the month of May and October... I will grant an unusual amount of favor not only to the Church but into this Nation for the rain shall come upon the just and the unjust. For suddenly there will be a rapidity, there will be a movement that shall happen so quickly that they shall say, we did give not bring birth or give birth to this.
Time Magazine will have no choice but to say what I want them to say. Newsweek, what I want to say. The View, what I want to say. Trump shall become a trumpet, says the Lord!"

O man.. you said it.. I very much agree. Thank you, I sometimes forget "staving off or lessoning judgment" and focus on delaying the wave of the increasingly popular agenda's cresting.. which is prophesied, and is likely (sooner? or, later?) to not only crest but have within it, judgments upon believers... The very troublous times.. Not that the Lord won't sustain, but I consider delay very good, mostly because I have grandchildren!
You know.. :Chinscratch: Speaking of repentance.. I think many more folks would repent and believe in the Lord if they heard the clear and simple u.r. glad tidings for all.. [Oh man, the gospel most hear... :sigh: u.r. with it's clear, cutting, or that is easy to be understood message can
slice through the fog.. Even if the fog is pretty darn thick.. :mshock: May we all be the sword and not the fog!

How interesting..

It is very interesting.. the name - Trump. And as Psalm 2 says, the nations.. or peoples, certainly are raging.. (just a 'beginning' of?)

Probably the only person who thinks this, but I just don't want any more delays for judgment. Judgment teaches righteousness, and the sooner the world learns righteousness, the sooner we transition into the next ages, and with God being all in all.
Sure, it may be a bit painful, but necessary. If God kept delaying judgment on the child sacrificers and Sodom and Gomorrah, or even the days of Noah, how much more lives would have been lost? How much evil do people want to be increasing? All up to God, but I hope not much longer...

You don't have kids right? I think that is what Glenda is talking about. The instinct to protect them is so strong. So whatever the judgment entails, it is scary if the prospect is suffering that could reach them. Even if it's God's will, it's a difficult thing.
Also, I know we are all flawed...but can someone explain to me why Trump is seen as a hero? Unless we are hoping for a Paul-type conversion (or he's already had one)...or is it that people think God is working through him despite his flaws? I am not going to dig up all that I read of him but allegations of rape, he's certainly not a champion for the poor or meek, owns a bunch of casinos...he once said his favorite bible verse is "eye for an eye" apparently not understanding that is no longer in effect. I guess I don't understand the Trump excitement. And I looked into the Bible studies st the White House with some excitement, but the pastor leading them won't let women lead the Bible study classes, has called Catholicism a false religion (I guess you all probably agree with it but I view it as a flawed system as are all denominations, with evil infiltrating here and there with the inquisition, sex abuse stuff etc, with true believers and the Holy Spirit nevertheless in it)...
I don't know. I'm not judging the man, I am just confused. God allows leaders and I respect that, and I certainly don't hate him.

Send me a wife worth more than rubies and some money, and then I will. I like kids actually(well, most of them) even if I don't have any myself.
I do understand, but until there are no kids left(basically the Kingdom and beyond. Unless a different/same way of making more people exists) then it is inevitable. I hate anyone suffering, and would rather suffer instead. But there is a purpose to it all, and death is not the end of them.
Luke 14
26 If any man come to me, and hate(
love less) not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
I don’t think of Mr Trump as a hero, just one who seems to understand the value of the division of power in human government, and the constitution as an unchanging document. This conserves the culture for a generation or so.. or that is as long as those 2 are intact. It’s become a personality cult. I think to idolize or to dislike him are both extremes. It’s not the person and as to party I think it’s an issue of which party will lead us to an abyss the more slowly? woe if one party gets control of media and education - or that should be vice versa order, according to today (imo of course :HeartThrob: - I’m half one party half the other.. libertarian ideally, as the opposite has never worked and can’t because of the fragile and flawed character of man (the flesh).
Crazy days!
ps, I’ve always thought of the verse “mercy triumphs over judgment” as mercy trumps judgment.. I wonder how that could be used right now, for u.r...? lol.
Morning! I had to come by and share these verses I was reading today, very familiar I’m sure..
Acts 4:24-31 -
Lord God Almighty, you created heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. 25 And by the Holy Spirit you spoke to our ancestor David. He was your servant, and you told him to say:
“Why are all the Gentiles (unbelievers?)
so furious?
Why do people
make foolish plans?
26 The kings of earth
prepare for war,
and the rulers
join together
against the Lord
and his Messiah.”
That very last stood out very much to me.. that it’s the true battle..
The rest of the verses,
27 Here in Jerusalem, Herod[a] and Pontius Pilate got together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel. Then they turned against your holy Servant[b. Jesus, your chosen Messiah. 28 They did what you in your power and wisdom had already decided would happen.
29 Lord, listen to their threats! We are your servants. So make us brave enough to speak your message. 30 Show your mighty power, as we heal people and work miracles and wonders in the name of your holy Servant [c] Jesus.
31 After they had prayed, the meeting place shook. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and bravely spoke God’s message.
:Peace2: :girlheart:
Love those scriptures and yes they apply! I call myself an independent as well, and voted for third party candidate Gary Johnson though I hear people say voting third party is throwing your vote away or giving your vote to the opposition. But mostly I stay out of politics and try to focus on my own little family and community, praying for the world at large is all I can do.
Some more scriptures:
1 Timothy 2:1-2
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
Titus 3:9
But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.
1 Peter 2:13-17
Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.
John 19:11
Jesus answered him, "You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin."
Psalm 146:3
Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
And to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.
It seems we are to live peacefully with all, pray for all, including our leaders, and trust in God.

:friendstu:
