Yahshua made a statement that as the days of Noah--so shall be the coming of Yahshua   mat.24:37

Now a question arises just how were the days of Noah--well the scriptures tell you

they were eating and drinking and giving in marriage---this depicts everyday lifestyle--but it shows that they were not heeding the message of Noah--but going on carelessly in their everyday lives--did not believe the message or Yah.

Then it says that they knew not until the flood came and took them all away----so also shall the coming of Yahshua be.

today we here people say that's just how it is today---well did it happen already--lets look again at the scriptures

one shall be in the field--one taken--one left

now in the days of Noah--I ask--who were they that were taken ??--was it not the crowd outside the ark that knew not until the flood came and took them all away(in destruction) ?? the unbelievers were all taken in destruction and killed

this blows away the so called rapture theory of people flying to heaven when they are taken away---nonsense

who were the ones left in the days of Noah--was it not the 8 in the Ark ??--they had received Salvation---not wrath

So where does this short discussion lead us ???

the ones taken at the coming of Yahshua was the unbelievers--ad 70 ???   over 1 million unbelieving jews were taken in destruction by the Wrath(killed)

the ones left behind at the coming of  Yahshua was the believers--ad 70 ??  the believers all fled into the mountains and escaped the wrath(destruction)

its evident that the ones taken were in wrath and the ones  left escaped the wrath   :HeartThrob: :HeartThrob: :HeartThrob:

FAL, In your opinion it is evident. I would like to remind us all that the forum is for the purpose of teaching and celebrating the salvation of all- not for debating peripheral doctrinal issues.

Everyone is free to discuss peripheral issues in a collegial tone, but debates over preterism or soul sleep or the Godhead, or the law and the Sabbath or any of the other tangental beliefs of a membership that comes from many theological backgrounds are not allowed to become distractions from our purpose- declaring the victorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Teaching preterism on the site is not within the functional parameters of the site. Teaching Sabbath keeping is not within the functional parameters of the site.

There are other sites for that stuff. This is not that kind of site.

No one is allowed to teach there systematic theology on this site.

There are threads on this site where the issues have been debated ad nauseum and the opinions of the various members are already well and thoroughly expressed. Anyone who is really interested in these subjects can find them and hear every available perspective.

Anyone who wants to "re-teach" these various views is on the wrong site.

Please keep this in mind in the future- then site is for seekers concerning the salvation of all, and fellowship among those who already believe it. peace, John

hmmm, I wonder if there is a UR forum where different doctrinal ideas are hashed out.....? as any where else any mention of UR will cause one to be ignored at best..

Most of the doctrinal ideas that become strivings have nothing to do with UR and can be argued anywhere.

It has been stated over and over that this site was not formed for that puprose. I for one enjoy discussing almost anything. I just dont enjoy debating because someone else is "teaching" debatable points as fact.

If someone really wants to "hash things out" they can go to threads where these same issues have been hashed and hashed and hashed.

But that isnt satisfactory for someone who prefers to teach and debate their theological systems.

The owner and moderators of the site would rather see less posting and membership than reams of posts driven by the spirit of debate over theological issues tangental to UR.

Perhaps, still the Truth that Jesus is the Savior of the World and that the inspired Word was given to the ministry of reconciliation, that ALL men will be brought to salvation, is a promise yet awaited.
IDEAS, CONCEPTS, and doctrines emerging from the thoughts and imaginations of man, imo are trumped by Truth and  need to be crushed under the foot of Good News.  :dsunny:

sheila

like.I have no intention of yelling  at anyone?I have always used capitals to place emphasis. I

need to start working on these things too!    This is a test

sheila

   Hey! not bad
[/i]   I was afraid it might be harder on everyone for me to even attempt this.

sheila

  That didn't turn out like I intended at all..........

lomarah

Sheila hehehehehe I love ya.

micah7:9

Please continue :HeartThrob: I am at a loss right now. :dsunny: I had not noticed a "yelling." Are you speaking of those bold letters? Well, I for one found them quite readable.  :LH:

Lazarus Short

No biggie, Sheila, and I use big, bold letters all the time on many www forums, not to yell, but to appease my old eyes.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

sheila

Hey,Micah...I capitalize when I'm trying to emphasize something in my post, because, basically that's

about all I can manage, lol!!  It is never my intention to 'yell'..and you old timers on here know it.....

but the newby's  might not...can anyone tell I flunked typing in high school? :sigh:

from now on I'm going to use big bold all the time too,..if I can remember it.... :laughing7:

I may even try my hand at underline for emphasis

so many of your post look so nice............ :Urock:

sheila

well, maybe not..the above post was supposed to be all blded..and the sentince about underlining..lined....

   just forget it.......... :bdh:
