Title: anyone buying silver?
Post by: legoman on May 12, 2011, 04:26:21 PM
Not sure if this is off-topic, but I believe it is most definitely related to our continual search for the truth.

Anyone buying physical silver as a safe haven from the future potential economic crash of the $US?

I would if I could. From what I have read it seems a very good investment, I don't see it as a safe haven, but more of a way to double your money. So if you spend a 100$ you could make $100 profit.

In times of economic trouble the most important thing are food supplies. So think of stocking up on seeds and learning how to garden is a better investment in my opinion, as there will be plenty of willing buyers. Keeping it safe could be a problem though.
