It amazes me that people expect "noddy badges" when they get to heaven.  "Getting there" for the pie-in-the-sky kingdom guys should be sufficient.  Oh how they miss entering the Kingdom right now.  The kingdom to come is just a continuance of this one.

Sure Jesus said "All authority is given to us."  When they finally realise that then the Kingdom shall come.

Who ever runs this organization will not allow any of my messages to be shown any longer on the "current messages board" which is part of the explore function. See when ever some one stars you or comments on your post your message automatically goes up to the "current messages box", then more people see your message and it get more reads and more reads means more stars and comments which raises it up to the current message board over and over for all to see and your message rolls on and on like an ever growing snowball rolling down a hill ......... feeding  ........ ever feeding .......... ever growing ....... feeding and growing  :laughing7:

PS. My neighbor called last night to tell me she shared, that she espoused "UR" for the first time ever in a conversation. I mentioned my "What in the Hell is Hell?" post and this is her reply. LOL

Jack I could only read a little of that, wow how do you do that.  I could never endure those things being written about me, but especially about our Father.  In light of reading all that I can not believe I shared what I did today.  However I did feel pretty sure of God's leading.  I would have a hard time responding without saying hey you can just go to Hell!!! by your self thanks.

Surely you should get a caution 1st.  Some of the respondents to you IMO were very uncouth and they need cautioning.

I am currently getting chewed up by some exchristians whom are mainly agnostics and athiests. But its nice chewing, lots of expletives for added flavor though lol I must taste good to some but i have fallen in love once again with people I have so little in common with in the ways we think. Its very tough for me to try and connect, I come off looking like the ignorant gal I am but Im learning alot.

No Kept, I didn't mean to give the impression I was quiting that place. I just retired from a very good discussion on Bible worship and Bible errancy. It was a rare occurrence in that place but I felt I would be making my self obnoxious to continue with that one.

I am going to write a blog sometime soon on the different levels of scriptural understanding. You don't even touch allegory with this group so this might be good. I can envision writing this message then having the Lord immediately send in our "literalist bunker buster" Cardinal in to confuse and lay waste to the letter of the law.  :laughing7:

It's all good and I can only imagine how tough the atheist/agnostic crowd must be.  :mshock: I'll stick with the lighter weights, thank you.

During the last few day I have had a thought of how the Lord seems to be sending many of us out to share with such groups, even those that would be adverse to such. Then I think how the efforts to organize and gather seem so difficult with the "UR" crowd. Maybe a new and emerging paradigm ......... I would like to think so.

I stumbled on this forum quite by accident, read some great arguements against eternal torment and thought wow, we have some things in common. However, I think a christian that does not believe in eternal torment is quite the thorn in the side as many so want to have nothing at all in common with a christian so then, the tactic is to make sure this christian knows that they are not indeed a christian. That way it all stays in tact as they have nothing in common with christians.

I however, want any religion thinking in me exposed and my views challenged. Pardon the expletive but Truman said He never learned a da** thing from someone that agreed with him. And well, most of the stuff that has been mind blowing for me came thru vessels I had little in common with as far as our thinking. So there I am getting ripped a little here and there cause I have so little to work with here, hello God , I keep reminding Him He said He would use the foolish to confound the wise. They are wise in ways im not, challanges me mucho. My mysticism does not fly in the midst of such rational thinkers for one second and I find myself totally out of my league as far as intellect goes haha

Well I tell ya Jack, give me athiests and agnostics and the foul language any day but NO fundies for me, the language they use is much more foul then the fbomb haha I lose my lunch talking to them . However, on the flip side being even tongue lashed by someone that isnt religious is very refreshing compared to that and I just like the people. I really am getting to like one of them imparticular, she is a real jewel.

I believe these comments will bless you Holly. I really think we have come along way since I made my initial call for help at the beginning of this thread, after my "What in the Hell is Hell"  :laughing7: post. I have seen so many signs. These people WERE christians and most of them know the bible inside and out. They are not interested in the least little bit in universalism and many are recovering from much religious abuse..........we should be able to relate to that huh. Therefore, noone should go thinking you are going to enlighten anyone or change their minds. imo go to get to know some wonderful people that dont think like you and will challange everythng you believe.

Personally Im there to challange myself and to love people different than me and am under no delusion that Im there to win anyone to my way of understanding lol

I thought when I read Toasters one post she was a fundie making fun of them and totally misunderstood her words and let her have it! Then I later was so embarrassed at my blunder when she told me she was there, and of course then her posts got more in depth and I recognized her. Im glad she is forgiving and gave me grace.

I get a little angry at the fundies there and have to watch myself........Im still a mess when it comes to that area, that is why I cannot go where you go Jack. I would chew them up after a bit cause nothing can make me more angry than using God to tell people they are going to go to eternal torment while they enjoy saying so.......ohhhhh dont get me started haha

Im quite the mystery cause I speak so clouded there. Ive tried to not get in the scripture and absolutes cause you know me, I dont talk that way, bugs them to no end just as much as my friends get bugged by it at times. But there is very little that is absolute to me, Jesus life, death and resurrection, absolute! All men will be saved, absolute........most of the rest is morphing all the time and I wont make hard stances cause Ive eaten way to much humble pie in my day.

that is hard over there for them casue the christians they are used to talking to are very assured they know it all and very adamant about what they do know. But they cant pigeon hole me, noone can on too terribly much.
