Bless you, Paul.  I still get angry too.  I usually withdraw from people when I start feeling angry so that I don't offend someone, but sometimes I wind up shooting off my mouth anyway.

Hope you have a good, Good Friday and Happy Easter / Passover.    :icon_flower:

Sorry I missed that. Anger is something I can truly empathize with.
This forum is one of the most therapeutic experiences I could ever ask for. This is a place where you can let it all hang out. The last thing we should do is hide our anger from one another. I'm sure most if not all of us found our way here out of anger, frustration and or fear.

Paul,

It is no evil to become angry, at times we all have a need to vent and release the frustration., Even Jesus became angry, he was moved to anger with the money changers in the temple.

Your post reveals the forgiving spirit, grace at work with you  and I do not believe you would have posted this thread otherwise.

Personaly I have also dealt with anger though very little and slow to anger now compared to when I was younger, in my personal walk anger usualy stemed from impatience with trying situations that seemed forever before passing or having too many things to contend with in too short a time period rather than personal anger with any one person or persons in particular, usualy ( though not always) I am lead to avoid saying much to others until it passes.

By the way, personly I have enjoyed many of your posts and hope to continue to do so,

Peace,
Fire Walker

Bro. Paul, God has some visitations that will heal up some of
that anger.  Most of the time anger is caused by Hurt!

Bless you and may the heavens open upon you. Sorry, I didnn't
see your post til today.

How cool is it that when you open up with your honest opinion of yourself, that you find the family is quick to come to your side with salve of healing and support to let you know you're not alone in your process of fleshing out some things in your life.  If Christ didn't come to condemn the world, who are we to assume the role?

I pray that God leads you to the serenity of this battle within you, so that you can lead us to the same pasture of peace as well.

Blessings bro.

Yes, the reason He "consoles" "us" is so we can console someone
else.

I wrote an article last year called "Son of Consolation" ......this
was really pointed out to me.

For me, anger isn't really a trait that births life and light in me or others.  It may, however, be a trait that manifests in me for the purpose of me allowing God to remove it from my flesh so that I may me more effective in my maturity in him.

There was a comment somewhere about the fact that Jesus was angry when he cleared the temple . . .but there's much more to it than Jesus losing his cool . . .he actually took the time to go make this whip before returning to clear the temple . . .it wasn't a knee-jerk response that Jesus had trouble coralling, but instead it was a planned out task that he engaged in doing with great passion for his father's house.
