WW I am completely clueless when it comes to computer things, I want to read Whatever Became of Melanie but I don't know how to open it? I downloaded eSword, now what do I do? Thanks. :bigGrin:

Assuming you already installed eSword....

Close eSword.
Double click the file you downloaded.
The program now suggests where to put the book.
Click unzip.
Start e-Sword

At the top of e-Sword you'll see a row of small icons.
Click the one with the E in it.
Now look at the bottom of your e-Sword window.
I probably reads: topic.topx
Click it.
A list opens.
Select the Melanie book.
You now see the index page.
For other pages look just above the white area.
It reads 0.1 Title / Contents
Click and select the chapter you want to read.

I still can't get it to work though... I did the unzip thing and went on to eSword and clicked on the 'E' button but it doesn't say topic.topx or anything like that... If I knew how to take a screen shot I would so that I could post it for you... but like I said I am pretty clueless when it comes to computers haha!

Screenshot is easy.
Press print Scrn for a your whole screen
Or
Click in the eSword window to highlight it. Then press Alt+Print Srcn.

The picture is now on your clipboard.
Start Paint
Ctrl + V
Tadahhh :winkgrin:

Are you sure it unzipped to the correct directory?
On my PC it placed the file in teh wrong directory.

Depending on your windows version it should be here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword
or
C:\Program Files\e-Sword
