Is the reason why I suffer from depression, have no friends, and am treated like I don't exist by my cousins and stepbrother, because this is karma for me not obeying God properly. I wasn't raised around religion, so I am more involved in my life than I am with God's will. In the past, I've asked God for help and guidance, but I get no answer, so I gave up.
Please help me.

No you are probably treated that way because people are sinners and have a hard time loving eachother. I do thing God can bring people like that to your doorstep but not to get back at you but to give you an opportunity to try to see them through Christ's eyes, to know they have flesh like you. We all do.  :HeartThrob:

I treat them like family though. I don't hate them, but I am also very hurt by the way they treat me.

Some things we can help by making personal adjustments.  Some things are simply mostly or all the person's fault/responsibility, and we can't fix it.

Doing what you're doing, treating them well, loving and forgiving the best you can with God's help, is a good thing.  Don't beat on yourself for anything that's truly their issue.  Admitting hurt and sadness (like you're doing) is also a good thing, which we can take to God in prayer and ask for help and healing.  :2c:

:cloud9: There's no such thing as karma, but there is the law of sowing and reaping. We all reap where we have not sown (unjustly accused) at some point, because He did, and the servant is not greater than the master.

But the secret to overcoming this is to read the NT and make it personal to you, until you truly realize IT IS WRITTEN TO YOU. You are precious in His sight, you are a son of the Most High God, you are a joint heir with Jesus your elder brother, you are entitled to all the promises, you are more than a conqueror, you are the apple of His eye, you are destined to rule and reign with Him, you do have the favor of the Lord, you are a King's kid, purchased with His blood.

When you focus on these things, no one can put you in the box of their choosing, because you are identifying with the Truth, not men's minds, including your own. Your life is hid in Christ, THAT is your identity. Don't let other people define who you are, they didn't make you (He formed you in your mother's womb)! Go to the One who did and seek His purpose for you, starting with WHO you are in Him.

Your parent's named you and you had no choice in that did you? Well name denotes nature, and God has a name/nature for you as well, and you have no choice in it either. The sooner you "get with the program" the sooner your life will begin to make sense to you, and no one will be able to rob you of your destiny. Ignore the naysayers and find out what God has to say to you. Chin up!  :friendstu:

First of all, I want to tell you that you are loved, not just by God but normally your christian brothers and sisters should love you too. I would like to send you some love from Germany. If you need someone to talk, send me a PM please and I will give you skype and facebook if you like. I am sick with mental illness too and live in a group home and have much time, if you want we could play some online games together. Abba loves you deeply, dear brother, especially now that you have problems. It is not Karma, call it fate if you will, we all get our issues in life, only a few get through life so easily, and Abba is more with the afflicted than with those who have it all easy. Jesus rose from the dead for you and he is your brother in this situation too. God bless you!
