Sometimes used in connection with how to avoid ET. What is Jesus actually talking about here?
I had somebody ask me once, "endure to the end of what?". I could be wrong, but I personally think the primary application of that scripture has to do with the destruction of Jerusalem, the end of temple worship, etc...
Gill has a pretty good (I think) summary below, discussing the Jerusalem angle. He also adds (I'm personally not sure how directly this scripture applies to this) an angle about all believers, sealed with the Spirit will indeed endure (by the grace and work of God in them, and the free gift) to the end of their life/until Christ's return, etc. Important to note about their endurance would be that they be victorious and faithful along the way, not falling to deceit etc...(which would not steal their spiritual salvation, but would cause them trouble, robbing of clear conscience, peace and joy, rewards, etc. [my understanding and additions];

Amen! ..I think this life itself is `tribulation` and even if we should be in a place or time when brother will betray brother etc, or if not (or when untruth is reigning supreme).. the believer is to endure (stand) to the conclusion of their life.. Endure to the end, don't fall away..
Jesus doesnt say, "saved from eternal torment in hell". ETrs read that extra into every occurrence of the word "saved". The word means "healed, delivered, restored".
James says,, "Blessed isthe man who perseveres under trial, afterward he will receive the crown of life".
There is great reward in perseverence- it doesnt mean everyone else will burn in "hell" forever (and it doesnt say that ;o)

....idk isn't there a scripture that states....for discipline you are enduring?,,,,,and do not give out when you are disciplined of Him?
...all the suffering/tribulation that all in Adam are/have/will endure in this world when sin/death/consequences of disobedience are
manifested[your own iniquity will rebuke you]
...making us to remember the battle and never repeat it [good/evil struggle/enmity]
we endure suffering....whether we are suffering for doing evil[correction] or suffering for doing good.if it be God's will

All of these things are still happening and will continue, likely in increasing measure, unto the end of the age.
