Atonement day is the Day of the Lord. The Great Day.
It's just one day. (=1000 years)

I think the day of atonement is part of the 10 days.
Tishri 1 (new year)....Tishri 9 days of Awe
Tishri 10 Day of Atonement which is also the 10th day of Awe.

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. The millenium is the 7th day. --> 7th millenium. --> week of millenia
Then 7 days of Sukkot follow.
Then a strange 8th day follows on which God asks to stay 1 more day.
The day after that eighth day, the ninth day is when Jesus started His ministry.
So it wouldn't be illogical if His task ends on the 8th day.

Plus on atonement day the goat get's killed.
