Title: All unspoken nations
Post by: whatistruth on June 10, 2017, 02:11:09 PM
Hi everyone! I hope everything is Okay for all of you.  :HeartThrob:

A question,

Are there clear verses that show that all the canaan nations will be saved? (Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites,Hivites,Jebusites, Cannanites and other...) Like clearly sodom, egypt...
I might have missed it.

And, parallel a question;

Israelites worshiped idols. Also, they were warned again and again.  God always begged them. But they are Stubborn. They were deliberately sinners.

They have done all of the evil which caused the canaan nations to be destroyed. They too sacrificed their children to the fire.  (exmpl,  jeremiah verses)

But, Nevertheless, God left on the land of the israel. And he always begged them. He did not do it for other nations. Although the god himself said that Israel is the worse offender than sodom, the new covenant even said that he would save all israel. even when they did not repent, God brought them back. The Israelites were worse than other sinners.

Why did God show no same respect for other nations and people?

All I can come up with is Ezekiel 16:55, and surrounding verses.

Thank you so much my friend. Yes! I was talking about these verses.Of course, there are other verses too.

And, God says,

Even though he was more guilty of them, he did not completely destroy it and did remember his treaty. Always.

There are clearly in other parts signs that sodom will be restored. But, there arent clearly canaan nations.

I wanted to ask while trying to find.

And on this Mount shall the Lord of hosts make for all peoples a feast of rich things, a feast of wines on the lees - of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. And He will destroy on this mountain the covering of the face that is cast over the heads of all peoples, and the veil that is woven and spread over all nations. He will swallow up death. And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; and the reproach of His people He will take away from off all the earth; for the Lord has spoken it. (Is 26: 6-8)

Could the answer to the latter part of your op have to do with the promises God made to Abraham, that in him all the families of the earth would be blessed? (Genesis 11:3). Israel being a means for God to ultimately save all men/peoples.

And maybe the next part of the grand story is Romans 9-11.
...Israel failed to obtain what is sought...(11:7)
So I ask, Have they stumbled so as to fall? By no means! But through their false step and transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to arouse Israel and so to make them jealous. Now if their stumbling has so enriched the world, and if Israƫls failure means such riches for the Gentiles, think what an enrichment and greater advantage will follow their full reinstatement! (11:11-12)
For if their rejection and exclusion from the benefits of salvation were for the reconciliation of a world to God, what will their acceptance and admission mean? Life from the dead! (11:15)
